Dit hotel ligt op ongeveer 200 meter afstand van het zandstrand. Het bevindt zich ca. 4 km buiten het toeristische centrum van Puerto Rico. Een bushalte bereikt u na ca. 150 meter.Het in het jaar 2007 geopende hotel van de betere middenklasse is voorzien van airconditioning en heeft een tuin en een terras. Het gebouw heeft 5 verdiepingen met in totaal 197 kamers, waarvan 64 suites en 4 kamers voor mindervaliden. Het biedt een ontvangsthal met receptie, wisselkantoor en lift, evenals een conferentieruimte, kiosk, winkels, kapsalon, bar, discotheek en een restaurant (kinderstoelen aanwezig). Verder heeft het room- en wasservice (tegen betaling), een medische dienst en een internetaansluiting. Voor de kleine gasten zijn er een miniclub en een speeltuin.De kamers zijn voorzien van een telefoon, satelliet-/kabeltelevisie, radio, huurkluis en een individueel reguleerbare airconditioning. Verder hebben de kamers een balkon of terras, evenals een badkamer/douche/wc met haardroger.In het buitengedeelte bevindt zich 2 swimmingpool met kinderbad en een pool-/snackbar. Tevens kunt u gebruik maken van een zonneterras met ligstoelen en parasols, evenals een binnenbad met whirlpool, sauna, stoombad en massages en wellness-behandelingen (tegen betaling). Het hotel biedt u de mogelijkheid tot tennis, squash en golf (tegen betaling), paardrijden en in de fitnessruimte te trainen. Het animatieprogramma voor groot en klein zorgt voor veel afwisseling en amusement. Aan het strand kunt u verschillende watersporten beoefenen en staan er ligstoelen en parasols tot uw beschikking (tegen betaling).Het diner kan ook als menu worden gekozen. Het is mogelijk om halfpension, volpension of all-inclusive te boeken.

Brilliant hotel.

Beautiful hotel beautiful views, been about 8 times. I say I love block one. The hotel has four blocks. You towel can only go in beds after 9am unless you sit there so no problem. The hotel had a problem with rock fall. I do think staff need to be at the lift to help with luggage. Until Reception open again to be dropped off. Once again thank you for alovely stay paradise.

Excellent hotel all staff are first class and really cant praise them enough. Location of the hotel is excellent with an outstanding view. Quality of the food is amazing and caters for all allergies without any fuss. The hotel rooms could do with being modernised as they are becoming tired looking especially the bathrooms. The only down side is the thumping music from the beach club that plays music well above the safe decibel level.

First of all the good stuff. The location (view alone) is excellent. The staff are fantastic throughout. The food is great and the entertainment is also great. Not so good. The road leading uphill to the hotel is blocked off and will not be re-opened in the immediate future. This means your transport drops you off at the bottom and there is a challenging uphill walk with your cases to get to the lift up to the 6th floor (reception). Possible solution: The coaches could drive up to the lift and then reverse back down to the bottom. The resort was renowned for being quiet and there isn't motorised water sports and supposedly NO live music. This is no longer true. The incessant dance music emanating from the Amadores Beach Club (below Block 1 of the hotel) is a constant from 10am until late at night. Possible solution: Don't put your guests of 'advanced' years in Block 1. Try to accommodate them in any of the 3 others. The hotel has rules/regulations/recommendations in place, such as, not booking sun-loungers before 9am, wearing long trousers down to dinner in the restaurant etc. The shame (for us anyway) is that they are NOT enforced. Not what we expected in a good 4* hotel. Even saying all this, I scored the hotel 4 out of 5 but it could have been so much better.
