Dit strandhotel is gelegen aan de zuidwest kust van Gran Canaria, slechts 70 m van het strand Playa de Taurito en 5 kilometer van het charmante Puerto de Mogán, waar gasten restaurants vinden. Er zijn op vijf minuten lopen van het hotel winkels in Taurito en de dichtstbijzijnde haltes van het openbaar vervoer zijn slechts 100 meter weg. Het is 9 km naar het touristisch centrum, Puerto Rico, waar de gasten bars en pubs zullen vinden. Een andere mogelijkheid zijn de winkels en clubs in Playa del Ingles, op 20 minuten rijden. Playa de Amadores is 10 minuten rijden van het hotel.Dit hotel met airconditioning werd in 2008 gebouwd en bestaat uit 190 kamers, verdeeld over 6 verdiepingen. De architectuur en inrichting zijn gebaseerd op regionale materialen als hout en natuursteen. De receptie die 24 uur per dag geopend is, de check-out service en het hotelrestaurant zijn op de begane grond. De faciliteiten bestaan uit een wisselkantoor, een lift, een kiosk, een kapsalon, een bar, internettoegang en een kinderclub. Tegen betaling kunnen de gasten gebruik maken van de wasservice en het parkeerterrein.Alle kamers met eigen badkamer hebben een balkon met tafel en stoelen, evenals ligstoelen en uitzicht over zee. Ze hebben ook een haardroger, een spiegel, een telefoon, satelliettelevisie, een radio, een minibar en een kluis. De kamers hebben individueel regelbare airconditioning.Op de begane grond is er een buitenbad met een kinderbad, evenals ligstoelen, parasols, zonneterras en snackbar. Er is ook een binnenzwembad voorhanden. Daarnaast kunnen de gasten van talloze activiteiten gebruik maken zoals tafeltennis, aquafitness, tennis, jeu de boules, een renbaan, squash, basketbal en roeien. Er is ook een fitnessruimte en er wordt een animatieprogramma voor volwassenen en kinderen aangeboden. Tegen betaling kunnen de gasten poolen en minigolf spelen. De Anif Tauro Golfbaan vindt u op 3 minuten rijden van het hotel.

Looks so much better in person as the picture doesn’t do it justice. All inclusive package was good including snacks and a variety of drinks however some required currency which is standard. The food was also very nice with different choices appearing every night, 1 selection of fruits and salad, a selection of mains, chips pastas. Aswell as a desert selection and a bread stand. The staff were polite and the receptionist very helpful however the cleaners sometimes didn’t enter the room once a day when the cleaning sign was present. The bar area nice and the pool too but it could get crowded at times. Same with the plaza on a night team, too little space for the amount of people wanting to go down. Overall very good, the black sanded beach just a 5minute stroll if that and the saltwater water park also very close. Nice place to come

Winter Break Away!

My partner and I checked in on Boxing Day and departed on the 2nd January, so we were lucky enough to have amazing weather for the time of the year, it was 24 degrees for almost everyday we wee there! The resort area is fantastic with a couple of very friendly bars, a water park outside the hotel and just a lovely area to spend a week relaxing. The hotel surprised us both! It is in need of an uplift, however, the rooms are very generous, the food was tasty and plentiful, the staff work very hard to keep on top of things, despite the chaos that some families cause around the buffet areas. The pool area can get full but there is a very large water park across the road, which we utilised a few times, and we spent time at the hotel pool area as well. Overall, we had a great time and will consider staying at this hotel again, and the great attitude of the staff play a big part in this.

Uno was a life saver!

Just returned and wasn't very impressed with the complex, the food was cold and dull so we ate out every evening and breakfast was no better. The evening entertainment is so dated people in wigs singing the hokey cokey and the water park is tired, freezing and the sun beds are really uncomfortable. The hotel pool is nicer but very small and I wouldn't really say its heated and don't get me started on the air con thats just a joke. Some positives nice room, the cleaners are great but the bath is very spongey and you feel like you will fall through it! The location is ok if you dont mind getting a taxi, the beach bars are great and the food at the beach is reasonable and tasty, Morgan is lovely but it's 20 euro each way. The sea is great fun and the weather was lovely so we got our winter sun fix and had some quality family time....uno was a life saver!
