Great holiday here
Apart from the transfer being 90 minutes this resort was beautiful amazing fab all in one. Kids were entertained from the very 1stmorning, pool was refreshing slides great fun and the beach was breathtaking. We stayed in the elegance wing and the views across the sea were lovely. The food was good, something for all tastes, a favourite was the pancakes, waffles and omelettes made fresh every morning. Joker, barbie and curly made our kids holiday what it was, our kids loved them. The entertainment was very tongue in cheek, much fun and laughter to be had. The markets came onto site and we had some great bargains (even if they are fake). We can't fault this place other than the transfer time. We will go back here one day

The worst week ever
Where to start with this! I arrived Tuesday morning at 5 am with my 1&7 year old s reception took over 20 minutes of filling out forms and copying passports etc. Finally got the kids to bed and in the morning got to reception at 11 to be told there was a Thomas Cook rep welcome meeting at 10am also breakfast was finished. My kids hadn't had a proper meal since the previous evening. No indication of where snack bar was so had to go to the nearest shop and buy crisps etc. Lunch time we arrived just before 2pm as the food was being cleared away. My daughter went to the hotel animation team kids club and was let go from their supervision by the pool and another guest brought her distraught to my hotel room. Written complaint filed with TC rep. Wednesday breakfast arrived at 10.20 no sausages left poor choice staff were not providing more food after it had ran out. Bar staff at lunch took my order then proceeded to serve 4 animation staff members before getting pouring my order. Kids food was greasy and only one option. Poor food throughout the stay food continuously running out, left to struggle will high chair and young child every tim. Never offered drinks at the table food service areas were a distance to find something descent and food was either over done or undercooked. During the holiday my daughter slipped down steps at the snack bar toilets and was distrauct and crying and not a single member of staff was concerned or offered me assistance back to the main building. I even had a female bar staff smile and snigger as I was telling the waiter their lack of assistance was shameful. Thomas Cook kids club staff heard my daughter crying and helped us back to the hotel and couldn't have been nicer. On the Sunday my room was not serviced at all which I told reception about late afternoon and was assured it would be seen to and a few hours later I phoned down as it still wasn't done. Monday was our last day and I paid £35 for late checkout and again mentioned I still had no room service and no towels left. 3.30 I returned to the room to shower the kids and still no towels and bins emptied. Told reception again and a room attendant arrived with towels and I had to actually ask her to take away a carrier bag of rubbish but bins were still not emptied so had two days of rubbish and nappies in them. On checking out at 6pm I was left to stand for 15 minutes with no assistance from the porter or staff to the luggage store room so I was left to get 2 suitcases a holdall and a pram there myself. Over all the worst holiday I have had. I was reduced to tears frequently by the fraustration felt towards the ignorant and unhelpful staff. The language barrier with the hotel staff was shocking. At one point I was actually struggling to have one of the 4 members of reception staff behind the desk understand what I was saying and was made to feel like I was some kind of idiot repeating myself. The food layout in the restaurant is terrible and the kids entertainment each night was the same songs and actions for 40 minutes. The only positive I can say about the whole experience is that the hotel is the same as the pictures in the brochure.

lovely hotel service very very poor
have just returned from this hotel animation were ok in the day but night time to be desired no separate entertainment. service was awful and the food cold the only good thing was the griddle area? the replenishment of stocks was awful ran out of wine and would send you to another bar ? if you asked for anything the if they didnt have it they wouldn't get it even so much as a slice of lemon ? this for us as a family was what ruined the whole hotel and holiday experience for all inclusive there was no ice cream for the children except for arctic roll served once a day hotel itself was lovely but not particularly very good for disabled or walking difficulties as very very steep ramps and very small bathrooms

excellent holiday, great for the children
we had an amazing holiday at the didim beach resort, the staff were fantastic, the hotel was very clean and well maintained. the hotel had 3 pools, one with slides which was a huge hit with the kids, we were all inclusive and the food was good, a bit boring after a few days but always something to eat and plenty for the kids to chose from. were considering going back next year we had a great time.

A reasonably good holiday
We had a fairly relaxing holiday at the Didim Beach Resort Hotel. Being we are somewhat older we found it rather noisy, but the staff in the Hotel were very courteous and helpful. The hotel was very comfortable and quite impressive. Well done the staff.. Many thanks

Family holiday in Turkey
Lovely holiday enjoyed by all our family. Hotel was situated in lovely location looking over the sea and harbour. Entertainment staff were very friendly and fun, some staff spoke very little english although this made it fun. The locals were always friendly. Family enjoyed the water sports at great prices. Overall at great holiday and would definately go back !!

Wow! what a holiday! Loved it :D
Just came back from a week at Didim Beach hotel (01.10.12)Wasnt expecting too much from this holiday as we had it at a reasonable price and had read some negative reviews. But wow what a fantastic holiday! the hotel is very opulent and ornate and very elegant looking. It was immaculately clean, there was always someone cleaning and collecting glasses rubbish etc, our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedding the maid even made swans and orchids out of our towels which was a really nice touch I thought. The staff were happy and friendly and couldnt do enough for you! The food was lovely, we were all inclusive and there was always food available and most times of the day. They had a wide range of choice which i was surprised at and having a child who is very picky I was a bit worried but they had mash brocoli and peas which are his favorite foods and tasted just like ours... they had chips and chicken nuggets also for him and a huge selection of desserts which he loved! We didnt have tp fight for sunbeds, my mam and dad didnt want to be stuck by the kids pool with us all day so they went to the adults pool which was further away from the hotel and was really peaceful for them.... I cant honestly say this was a fabulous hotel and we had a fantastic holiday I really cannot fault it! It exceeded my expectations and I would definately go back there! Do not listen to any negative reviews - some people just cannot be pleased.
