Holiday at Hotel Pollentia
Our second visit to Puerto Pollensa but hopefully not our last. A wonderful resort. Stayed last year at The Uyal but chose the sister hotel for this year, which ,on balance, we prefered and look forward to
our return there. The staff are pleasant and helpful and the food very good. The guests were all very
friendly and from conversations it was apparent that many were frequent visitors which in itself is a good recommendation.

great holiday once more
once again we visited the hotel pollentia and was not disappointed , the staff were very friendly and made us feel like we were one of their family , it is no wonder we keep going back and will be booking again to go back for our 17th time in 2013.

Very good situation for us as beach lovers.,Restuarant and staff great
The only thing we have to say on the downside is that the rooms seem very tired compared to other hotels we have stayed in recently

Hote Pollentia Puerto Pollensa
I was disappointed in the standard of breakfast food, particularly as most of the guests were English. Fried eggs and bacon were only available ion 3 out of the 7 mornings I was there. On other days it consisted of slices of ham, chipolata sausages or larger sausages with no bacon or fried eggs and sometimes hard boiled eggs. At the sister hotel Uyal, guests appeared to have the choice of a full English breakfast every day. Also the hotel was noisy at night from entertainment from surrounding venues with little appearing to have been done to ask late arrivals to be quiet. Breakfast hot drinks were of a poor standard.
Otherwise the hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful and the fact that it did not have a swimming pool didn't bother us as there was always room and sun beds at the Uyal to use.

Great resort with plenty of bars and cafes. Hotel rooms need updateing and beds need throwing out as they were hard and very uncomfortable. Staff and food exellent. Would not return to hotel untill changes were made which is a pity. Just needs investment in room facilities and it would be great.

Rain in Spain
Great resort for families with younger children, plenty of activities, swimming/pony riding/kids club morning and afternoon, ping pong etc. Very good buffet restaurants, although could do with a little more variety if staying for longer than a week, very glad to see they had introduced a vegetarian option each night this year. We stayed here last year in a village room which we thought was excellent, this year we had a Maris room which we felt needed an update and also had a bit of an ant problem, seemingly coming from a loose ceiling tile in the bathroom. Mentioned it to the rep who spoke to reception straight away and a man with a very large can of ant killer was at our room on our return, unfortunately though that only reduced the number of ants it didn't solve the problem completely. May have been partly due to the rain which at times was very heavy but overall Maris room needed a refurb. Lovely setting, lots of ponds, (with railings all round so quite safe) and lots of ducks and ducklings wandering about which the kids loved. Bus stops right outside hotel to Alcudia and Port de Pollensa, ten minutes each one. Overall would recommend to other families, staff friendly and helpful and service in bars and restaurants good.
