sol cala blanca
just got back from a weeks stay at the sol cala blanca majorica had a fantastic time hotel was lovely right on the beach , food fantastic, staff ,lovely weather fantastic only downside was people grabbing sun beds at 7 30 in morning and leaving their towels on them and going off for hours and not using them this we found frustrating staff need to minitor this and they need more sun beds and not so many table and chairs by the pool other than this had a great time

Nice hotel BUT beware of room 242
On arrival we were allocated room 242 small, dark, dingy and CLAUSTROPHOBIC. We were very disappointed ! This room did not look like the brochure. Five days into the holiday, we passed the room next door and our doubts were confirmed (we were in the broom cupboard ! ! ! .) We spoke to the management , they confirmed that the room was not suitable for a couple.I feel that this has damaged the reputation of the hotel and Thomas Cook. But most importantly myself and my wife. THE CUSTOMER !!!! Added to this misery the flight home to Norwich was the cherry on the cake!! or shall i say Stanstead? Having left the hotel at 7 30 am and arriving at Norwich Airport at 7 30 pm In all honesty I have serious doubts I will be using Thomas Cook again.

second visit very disapointed
we stayed at the sol cala blanca in palma nova in july, we had stayed here before and had really enjoyed it very much but this time our stay wasnt as enjoyable. there have been some inprovements made outside by the pool but not for the better,it looks nicer than it did before but they have took one part of the pool area and put tables and chairs and ther just isnt enough sun beds for the amount of guests who stay here, who wants to get up at 7.00am to get a sun bed when your on holiday. there wasnt as much choice of food that there had been in the past and some of the staff were a bit rude. the rooms are lovely and are very clean but i dont think wel be going back as its not a cheap hotel but your not getting value for money

Ideal beach holiday in the centre of Palma Nova
This was our second stay at Sol Cala Blanca and we already have our next stay booked. Location is ideal for shops and the beach. Most of the staff have been there years so the service is excellent throughout the hotel from bar staff to housekeeping to the restaurant. The food is very good with an extensive choice of both hot and cold meals.
Sol Cala Blanca is not the cheapest hotel in Palma Nova but you certainly get what you pay for!

Great place for couples to relax
From the moment we arrived and a member of staff came out and took our cases to our room we knew we were going to enjoy this holiday. The food was excellent with loads of choice every night the staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The poolside bar was lovely looking out to the sea. It has an excellent location. We will definately go back to the Sol Cala Blanca and to Palma Nova.

A Summer Break in Palma Nova, Majorca
My family and I have visited Palma Nova over some 20 years, but this is the first time that I have stayed in this hotel. I had an excellent holiday at the Sol Cala Blanca hotel and intend returning with my husband next year.
I had a beautiful, comfortable, large room (for which I paid the supplement) with balcony. The hotel is well situated a few yards from the beach with a beautiful view over the Mediterranean. There are shops nearby, as is the bus stop for Palma. A wide choice of excellent food is served either inside the dining room or outside. The pool outside overlooks the beach.
I have only one small comment about the sunbeds. It would be preferable for them to be placed around the pool in the morning, instead of having to lift them off a pile and drag them to the pool.
However, I strongly recommend this hotel.

R & R in Palma Nova
The Holiday was our second visit to the same hotel which speaks for itself. The staff were friendly and worked very hard. The Airport check in was excellent far superior to Easyjet with whom we travelled last year, greeting staff excellent. The only one complaint was that we were assured by the telephone booking agent that we would not have to pay extra for a sea view if we stated on booking that it was a preference. but on arrival we did have to pay extra. We were prepared for this as it had shown online booking that this was an extra, but the operator that took the booking gave us misleading information.
