Third time to Majorca - Viva Sunrise
We have been to this hotel before so knoew what we were getting. Family hotel. Great for very young children. Located very central but away from noise at night. Rooms are clean and well kept but would like to see more upgrades in all their rooms. Entertainment great for young children, but me and my husband were disappointed that the entertainment stopped about 10.30pm. Three years ago it stopped at about 11- 11.30pm. Beautiful beach very near by. Walk to Marina in about 20 minutes. Harbour is lovely and vibrant. Will return here again but going to try Viva Menorca next year. Overall - Definately book this hotel if you want a happy and exciting family holiday.

Lovely hotel, we stayed in August 12, myself & husband & our 2 daughters (age 6 & 3). The girls loved the Pirate ship & splash pool, my eldest also enjoyed the bigger pool, with plenty of sunbeds. We stayed All Inclusive which was excellent, good choice at breakfast and evening meal, girls could help themselves to ice cream (seperate cabinet for all inclusive patrons, known brand ice creams extra charge, but still lots of variety) slush puppies and another chiller cabinet with water bottles you can help yourself too. Lunch was choice from a menu which was also excellent & you get loads!!! Kids menu as well. Accommodation very clean and the hotel itself was clean, staff friendly and evening entertainment was fine for the children. Good choice for drinks on the all inclusive range, most wines, spririts, cocktails & local beer free of charge, some imported beers, whiskies etc were a small extra charge. Would not hesitate to recommend and would definitley go back!!

We have just returned from a brilliant 2 week family holiday, found everything to be of a high standard.....more than what we expected after reading some of the reviews! Our room was spacious and above the reception / bar area. Hotel was clean & tidy, staff very helpful & knowledgeable about the area....and spoke pretty good english too. Great pools & surrounding area (mangaed to get sunbeds without getting up at the crack of dawn), 1 pool with a play area.....pirate ship / small slides.....Great for the younger ones. Choices of food & drinks were good...Buffet style breakfast, snacks from Menu during lunch & themed buffet dinners in the evening....glad we went AI as it would probably work out expensive to eat & drink at hotel, but saying that there are plenty of bars & restaurants within a very short distance! Beach approx 5 / 10 minutes walk. Kids club was great...loads going on during the day, our 3 year old loved joining in the evening shows & doing the club dances & our 13 year old was happy with the choices of activities as well - A GREAT HOLIDAY HAD BY ALL! Computers available for a small fee, also has free WIFI which kept the kids happy playing with ipads & phones!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our Hotel was lovely, but unfortunately we were not facing the inner pool area, but directly above the delivery area for the hotel. This meant noise from about 6.30 every morning...some holiday! Not impressed when I asked the rep for help and was told to ask the receptionist for a different room....isn't it the rep's job to look after the paying customer?!
Overall the hotel was great, the hotel staff were friendly and the resort fantastic.

Just Book it Dont Thomas Cook it
the holiday was almost spoiled by Thomas Cook's inept customer service, flight changes 3 attempts to get correct tickets and they still managed to bugger up the meal requests on the plane. Rep didnt even turn up for the welcome meeting.
The viva sunrise is excellent for families with young kids, all entertainment is provided by the hotel themselves and is ideal for the kids for adults it can be a bit painful.
food was good and well priced for those not all inclusive, but there are plenty of eateries in the vicinity of the hotel.
Overall would go back to Alcudia but not with Thomas Cook.

Great for families
We had a lovely holiday at the Viva Sunrise Aparthotel. We were expecting one two bedroomed apartment but on arrival we were given two seperate apartments with an inter-connecting door which was great - more space - two kitchens two bathrooms etc which was perfect for five of us. Everything looked new and was spotlessly clean. Lovely pool area and lots of activities for you to join in. In a quiet area just a few minutes walk from the main street with lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. You could get a decent three couse set menu for about ten euros. The main street is quite touristy - I've never seen so many shops selling inflatable toys etc and all the shops seem to sell the same things, but on the whole a nice place. The street canals were a nice feature and made the place seem a bit different from the usual resorts. I wouild recommend these apartments to families, especially with young children as there is a lovely kiddies splash pool with slides and a playgound.
