We looked forward to our family trip to Las Vegas and wanted a nice hotel with close proximity to the strip. Though the Venetian is a beautiful hotel with easy an easy walk to Vegas attractions there is definitely an issue with how they treat their guests. We never had our room cleaned the entire trip and had to call for towels, etc. There were no blankets in the room to use on the pull out sofa bed and it took forever for them to deliver. The guards manning the scanning station for guest entry to the elevator area were rude and condescending. When I spoke to a front desk person about my concerns he said he would let his manager know...he never apologized or offered any sort of resolution and I'm sure my message was not passed along. The elevators were extremely slow and always full so you had to wait several minutes to get on and the pool area was always packed - We were there the second week of May - I can only imagine how much more crowded it will be as summer arrives. We paid a lot of money to stay at this hotel and with all the other options on the strip I would recommend people stay elsewhere.

Parking is not secure, car window smashed with $20,000+ worth of equipment stolen

Both the resort and conference/expo center have TERRIBLE security. I stayed here for a conference job and on the last day there were multiple break-ins / thefts affecting our staff. Equipment was stolen from backstage at the Expo center and there were SEVERAL vehicle break-ins in the parking garage. I had loaded $20,000+ worth of equipment into my car to drive back to the airport, and upon returning from checking out of my room, car window was smashed and all of my equipment was stolen. Upon speaking to security, they made it clear that they take ZERO responsibility for any theft and that this is a VERY regular occurrence which the resort does not make any effort to prevent. There aren’t even security cameras installed in the garage. They simply do not want to deal with it at the expense of their guests. STAY AWAY!!!!

The Venetian offers as excellent Las Vegas experience!

The Venetinan offers an excellent Las Vegas resort experience. Great variety of suites and amenities, casino, restaurants and shopping on-site. Conveniently located in the heart of Las Vegas. An easy walk to all the other resorts and attractions. Outstanding service.
