Het hotel bevindt zich in Nerudova Straat in de zogenoemde Lagere Stad (Malá Strana) in Praag. De straat leidt van het bovenste deel van het Malá Stranaplein de heuvel op naar het kasteel van Praag en de St. Vitus kathedraal. Het maakte ooit deel uit van de Koningsstraat die van de Karelsbrug naar het kasteel leidt. Het hotel ligt op steenworp afstand van de beroemdste monumenten van de stad, waaronder de Karelsbrug, het oude stadsplein, het nieuwe stadsgedeelte van Praag en het Wenceslausplein.Het historische gebouw stamt uit 1348 en is exclusief ingericht met de beste materialen en producten. Super clean and modern hotel, situated in the quiet streets of Lesser Town very near (just below) castle. Staff very friendly and helpful. 24 hour reception. Good selection of food at breakfast. Plates cleared quickly but not rushed. Late check out (12pm) as standard. Rooms serviced daily

Great hotel near the castle

We stayed at this hotel in December 2022. It is situated within the castle district, just below the back entrance of the castle. The breakfast was good, the rooms were spacious and clean. There are plenty of nice restaurants within this district, please be aware it is around 20 minute walk to the old town area.

Great location, good hotel, lacking in attention to detail for service

Mixed bag. Firstly the positives. If you’re looking for a quieter part of Prague this is perfect. It’s a 5min walk to the Castle and grounds and isn’t surrounded by bars. The hotel was very clean and tidy, the room we had was a standard, two twins put together and was big enough. Breakfast was a traditional Czech one with plenty to offer and over a 3 hour period so loads of time to go down and graze. However, it was the service that was lacking throughout, all small things but they add up and suggest they don’t perhaps think about their guests needs very well. In the lead up to the trip, the website asked if we were celebrating anything specific (nice touch) but then didn’t act on the information we provided around our anniversary. We were put in the only room on a staircase so meant we were woken most mornings to people heading down to breakfast. The bed was two twins pushed together with two single duvets! In the room, the hairdryer didn’t work. It cuts out after 5 seconds and they were aware, instead of providing us a replacement they waited for us to find out. We stayed for three nights and every day after housekeeping came they didn’t replace the soaps (only give you two small ones for showering per day), didn’t replace the coffee sachets, and on two of the days, didn’t replace the towels they’d taken away! We found ourselves doing more trips to reception asking for bits than necessary. We needed an iron and ironing board one day and they provided both although the iron was faulty and leaking so they didn’t come back and provide a replacement - something to be aware of. On checking out there was no ask of how our stay was, just the bill. Very transactional and whilst overall it was fair value, we were not blown away by it and felt they could have made all these small elements far better to improve our overall stay.
