Dit exclusieve strandhotel is zeer mooi gelegen aan zee in het noorden van Portugal, op slechts circa 50 m van het uitnodigende strand. Het ligt slechts ca. 15 minuten rijden met de auto van de stad Oporto. Vanaf het hotelterras heeft u een schitterend uitzicht op de betoverende turkooisblauwe zee. Het openbaar vervoer stopt op ongeveer 2 km van het hotel. Het stadscentrum ligt niet ver van het hotel en is gemakkelijk met een gezellige wandeling of per auto te bereiken. In de nabije omgeving (ca. 2 km) vindt u tal van mogelijkheden om te winkelen, talloze restaurants, verschillende bars, cafés, een discotheek en vele andere amusementsmogelijkheden.Het exclusieve hotel werd in 2001 gerenoveerd en beschikt over een hoofdgebouw met 6 etages en in totaal 174 kamers, waarvan 8 suites. Dit volledig van airconditioning voorziene hotel biedt zijn gasten een ontvangsthal met 24 uur per dag geopende receptie, hotelkluis, wisselkantoor, garderobe, een lift, een kiosk en een café. In het gebouw beschikt u over enige winkels, een bar, een speelkamer en een van airconditioning voorzien à la carte restaurant. Daarnaast biedt het gebouw een conferentiezaal, een openbare internetterminal, room- en wasservice en een parkeerplaats. Daarnaast beschikt het fraaie complex over een 20.000 m² grote, betoverende tuin, waar het heerlijk vertoeven is.De elegant en modern ingerichte kamers zijn voorzien van badkamer met douche en wc, haardroger, telefoon, satelliet-/kabeltelevisie, radio, internetaansluiting, minibar/koelkast, vloerbedekking, centraal geregelde airconditioning, centrale verwarming en een huurkluis. Verder hebben de stijlvol ingerichte kamers een balkon of terras.

Dear Solverde Wellness and Spa Hotel Team, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service and experience I received during my recent stay at your hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was stellar, super professional, and demonstrated great ethics. I want to especially commend a key member of your team, Bruno, for promptly identifying that I had overpaid by £30 during check-in. I was impressed to find a missed call and a note under my door just a few hours later, letting me know that Bruno had identified the mistake and wanted to return the excess payment. This level of honesty and integrity truly speaks to the attitude and values of your leaders and professional staff, and I believe they have great careers ahead of them. Beyond the exceptional service, the SPA was a great experience that exceeded my expectations. The room was large and welcoming, and the bed mattress was as comfortable as clouds. The breakfast was delicious and complete, and even at checkout, the staff was sensational. I want to thank you all for making my stay so memorable, and I will definitely return and choose Solverde Wellness and Spa Hotel for my future stays. Keep up the excellent work! A Perfect Place on the Portuguese Coast

We spent 5 nights at this delightful hotel on the beach, about 20 - 30 mins south of Porto. Having been to Portugal twice before, to both Porto and Lisbon, it was a welcome change to escape the cities and stay at the beach. The Solverde, while quite dated in appearance, really is a lovely spa hotel. It was clean and very comfortable, with spacious rooms (we had a 'superior sea view' which I recommend)--especially the bathroom--convenient parking, superb staff, great amenities and grounds, indoor and outdoor pools and easy enough beach access (you do have to walk out a bit to get to it) with an extensive boardwalk. While a car is recommended (there's not too much in the way of food, entertainment or tourist activities very close by), there is a lot to entertain yourself with at the hotel. I/we didn't use the spa facilities, but they looked very nice and many people did. I did use the gym, which was quite adequate. The food at the hotel was extremely good--especially dinner in the main restaurant. We didn't go into Porto at all on this trip, but explored the coast, both south and north up to the Spanish border, instead, and the Solverde made for the perfect base for our stay.

Stopover as part of a Touring Holiday

What a superb place. The hotel is nice, not far from the beach and connected to the boardwalk that provides a great walk to the nearest town. The rooms we had were clean and tidy and the food and wine was really good but this place was special, really special, because of the staff. They were superb. Reception, porters, restaurant, bars, all were helpful, service was great. We were touring on motorbikes and had a problem with one of them which was soon sorted due to the positive help and assistance given. We had a really great experience and enjoyed some great humorous banter with some of the staff whose English was brilliant (just as well as only one of us knew one or two words of Portugese!). We also liked the fact that the hotel was well outside Porto where we encountered some absolutely horrendous gridlock.
