Excellent hotel!

I stayed for 3 nights at the Ala Sul HF Tuela. I travelled with my daughter (25). The room was adequate. It wasn't huge but it suited our needs. The beds were comfortable but the pillows and duvets were for summertime and not the 14° - 16° temps during February/March. There is an additional duvet in the storage section. The bathroom and shower were superb. The shower was very powerful. The buffet style breakfast was great. So much choice and the food was fresh and tasty. Help yourself to as much or as little as you like! The best thing about this hotel though is the staff. All of them were pleasant, polite and very friendly. They all had a smile and were happy to chat. They even lent me a power adaptor when I forgot to pack mine. All in all a great stay and I'd be happy to recommend a stay here.

Excellent hotel for this price

The bedroom was not very big, but confortable. The matress very good and thick. The bathroom with shower, great hand gel, shower cap and shampoo. No more courtesy gifts. Breakfast excellent. Everything clan. The only problem or inconvenient was the distace to the centre, from Casa da Musica

Comfortable and compact

Great location a short walk from Casa Musica Metro. A few minutes by taxi to the central tourist areas or a 20/30 minute walk. Good steak restaurant just down the road and restaurant/bar/shop opposite. Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Staff were all excellent and extremely helpful. Our room was very compact but was comfortable. Very comfy bed, balcony, TV, wifi, on suite shower & toilet with soap& shower gel, towels etc. No door which my wife isn’t keen on. Quiet overnight so we slept vey well. Ala Sul is connected to the main HF hotel next door so the amenities are available, bar restaurant etc. Breakfast was excellent. No facility to make a hot drink in the room, but there probably isn’t space. That said we both agreed we would stay again, we really enjoyed it.
