A wonderful hotel, the rooms are nice, the facilities are great, the pools and views are idyllic. The food is fabulous & the staff go out of their way to help you enjoy a perfect stay. A good position with a lovely 2.7 km walk to Funchal port.

Promenade Jazz evening

Pests Promenade put on a Moonlight Jazz evening with food and drinks all inclusive for €40 each. In 15 years this is by far the best night Promenade has ever put on. Full marks to the team who worked so hard.

First return since lockdown

Lockdown and looking after grandchildren meant a delayed return to our time shares at the Promenade. We came out 2 weeks earlier than our usual week 18 and were lucky to get our New Year penthouse apartment. Holiday started off well with a good flight. Our bags were first off the carousel (never happened in many years of travelling) and on arrival at the hotel our room was ready. Hotel has lovely position for walking into Funchal or Camara de Lobos. We swam in the indoor pool daily and managed to read a lot. Staff are friendly and there is a nice happy hour. Owner relations are excellent. The cleaning staff are very efficient. Look forward to returning soon.
