Door zijn betoverende ligging aan zee is dit hotel de ideale plek voor een vakantie. Het ligt op ongeveer 5 minuten afstand van het stadscentrum. Het biedt u uitzicht op de strandboulevard en heeft een directe toegang tot zee. De hotelbus brengt de gasten naar Funchal en zorgt voor een individueel programma met uitstapjes, winkelen en restaurantbezoeken.Het luxehotel opende in het jaar 2000 zijn deuren. Het heeft 10 verdiepingen met in totaal 240 tweepersoonskamers en 47 suites. Het gebouw heeft een ontvangsthal met 24-uursreceptie, een kapsalon, een bar, een nachtclub, een tv-ruimte en een van airconditioning voorzien restaurant. Bovendien heeft het hotel een openbare internetterminal en is er voor de kinderen een miniclub. Auto's kunnen op de eigen parkeerplaats of in de garage van het hotel worden gestald. Great place to stay

A group of 13 of us stayed for a week, May 2023. We wanted to say that we thought it a great hotel and would defo stay there again. Very clean, food was excellent, much choice. The service from staff was ACE, so nice, smiled, chatted, polite. We would like to say big thanks to Neil/nil an Indian waiter around by the pool, who seemed to us, to go out of his way to help, serve the guests, constantly on the move. Unfortunately his 2 days off were as we left, so missed him to say bye and thanks. Also we would like to thank MIRANDA, in reception, for arranging our tour for us, and arranging to have a large table reserved for us, info on near by restaurants, cake shop, etc, etc. She was very good at her job, great guest relations skills. Only thing that we could think of to make a little better, was entertainment. Possibly little more daytime things!! Little longer, or different evening items!! Though the group playing saxophone and great guitarist were much appreciated. Well done Enhotel Lido, to all the great staff.

Great hotel

Top rate hotel, food and drink excellent. Great service and all staff very friendly. Special thanks to Neil at the pool bar who always got you a drink etc. with a smile and a chat. Easy to get into Funchal on the bus for 1.95 euros pp. you want for nothing at this hotel. Would go again.

Great stay, great service

This was our second time in this hotel and i musts say this was a great stay and a great customer experience since the booking. I booked dorectly through them as I knew the hotel and they did everything to accommodate our needs. They arranged the bedroooms on the same floor next to one another as we had asked, they pre-arranged tickets for us for the festa da flor parade, also arranged our massages and arranged a birthday cake for our daughter. What can I say? Service was top and all the staff is extremely nice and professional. Special thanks to Marina (guest relations) and also to our usual waiter Gregorio on the terrace for making our stay so pleasant. Apart from the service, the hotel offers everything you need in an all-inclusive hotel. Choice of food is varied (we only tried the main restaurant) and good. Other amenities (pools, spa, bar, lounges, etc) are very pleasant, modern and well maintained and rooms are very comfortable too. If i go back a third time to Funchal, without hesitation, I will stay in this hotel again.
