Dit betere middenklassehotel bevindt zich in het stadscentrum van Lissabon, op slechts enkele minuten lopen van het winkelcentrum Amoreiras vandaan. Naar de bushalte is het ongeveer 200 m; het dichtstbijzijnde metrostation bevindt zich op 800 m afstand. Naar het dichtstbijzijnde restaurant is het 500 m, de bars en pubs liggen iets verder van het hotel vandaan (2,5 km), naar de luchthaven is het slechts 5 km.Het in 1987 gebouwde en in 2001 gerenoveerde cityhotel telt 10 verdiepingen en heeft in totaal 169 kamers; waarvan 9 suites, 29 eenpersoons- en 131 tweepersoonskamers. Voor de gasten is er een ontvangsthal met 24-uursreceptie, een hotelkluis, een geldwisselkantoor, liften, een kiosk en een bar. Het van airconditioning voorziene à la carte restaurant met niet-rokergedeelte verheugt zich op uw bezoek. Auto's kunnen op de parkeerplaats of in de eigen parkeergarage worden geparkeerd. We stayed in Holiday Inn Lisbon from April 30 - May 8 on Av. Antonio Jose Almeida 28. We booked through Delta Vacations. Our flight was cancelled and rebooked for April 29, a day earlier, which left us without a room for the 1st night. IHG helped us with what to do so we wouldn't be sleeping on the street. When we checked in and had a problem with a non-licensed "taxi" driver, the front desk associate Verni Chagas helped us resolve the issue. He was very calm, professional, and spoke excellent English for we don't speak any Portuguese. Ana Monteiro was also very helpful, and I think both of them deserve special accolades and kudos for their excellent service. I am a journalist and usually only report on the bad news, but in this case, I want it known how much I favor IHG/Holiday Inn. Thanks for everything, and we loved Portugal!

Great City Break

Recently stayed for 4 nights at this hotel during our city break. Booked it through my IHG loyalty membership. Perfectly situated hotel in the city for getting out and about and only 15 minute ride to the airport. Room was good, clean and serviced everyday with a great view from the 9th floor. Didn’t use the restaurant as we were out each day but the roof top pool and bar were good especially as we had such good weather. Ate on our last day at the pool bar and the food was good. The staff were great up there. Well done. Certainly recommend this hotel.

A great hotel …with rooftop pool

DON’T LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. We stayed in this hotel for a city break…just 4 nights. Our room was on the 6th floor so we had a good view of the surrounding areas. Room was large and the bed was comfortable. All clean and tidy. Staff on reception were very friendly. Breakfast was great. There are hot and cold buffets. Bacon eggs etc…fresh fruit yoghurts, cold meats cheeses etc. different fruit juices. Coffee either from machine or ready made in coffee pots.Delicious cakes and fresh bread. There is a pancake maker and a toaster …yes the toaster takes a while …but they all do in hotels. I honestly don’t know what people got to complain about with the breakfast. The hotel is not in the main centre. However if you want something local …a 10 to 15 minute walk downhill will get you to a few lovely restaurants. However, if you want to get to the main area, Rossio, then you can take the metro. It’s about 10 to 15 minute walk to the metro….but…there is quite a steep hill to climb . If you can’t manage that, you can get a taxi ( use Uber) for 6 euros. Walking round Lisbon is magical, but also quite tiring , so it was a joy to go to the rooftop pool in the afternoon. There are sunloungers, bean bags and also a bar. Great after a tiring afternoon. A great hotel all in all.
