Dit vakantiecomplex bevindt zich in een fraaie villawijk aan de Rua Costa d'Oiro, ten zuidwesten van Lagos. Naar het Algarvestrand Praia Dona Ana is het ongeveer 300 meter, het stadscentrum ligt op ongeveer 1,5 km afstand. Het openbaar vervoer stopt op ongeveer 500 meter van het complex. Naar het vliegveld Faro is het ongeveer 45 minuten rijden.Dit zeer goed onderhouden complex werd in 1997 gebouwd en in 2007 gerenoveerd. Het beschikt over 17 tweepersoonskamers, 35 studio's en 5 villa's. In het hoofdgebouw is een ontvangsthal met een wisselkantoor, gratis draadloze internettoegang en een openbare internetterminal. Een café en een bar zijn aanwezig, evenals een van airconditioning voorzien restaurant met niet-rokergedeelte en geïntegreerd woon-/televisiegedeelte. Tevens heeft het hotel een mooie tuin van circa 400 m2 en wasservice, fietsenverhuur en parkeergelegenheid zijn beschikbaar.De kamers hebben een badkamer met een haardroger en een balkon of terras. Verder zijn ze uitgerust met een telefoon, gratis draadloze internettoegang, satelliet/kabeltelevisie, een huurkluisje, een minibar en airconditioning/centrale verwarming.Alle gebouwen van het complex hebben een eigen zwembad. Ligstoelen en parasols zijn gratis beschikbaar, badhanddoeken tegen betaling. Verder biedt het complex een binnenbad (van november tot maart) overdekt zwembad en een wellnessarrangement. Sportliefhebbers kunnen in de directe omgeving van het hotel gaan fietsen of mountainbiken. Op ongeveer 1,5 km van het hotel ligt een golfbaan. Het hotel biedt een afwisselend animatieprogramma (afhankelijk van het seizoen).Het ontbijt wordt geboden als verfijnd buffet. De lunch en het diner zijn ook à la carte te kiezen en daarnaast kan de lunch tevens als menu worden gekozen. Aan speciale dieetwensen kan worden voldaan.

Gem of a location and hotel

We loved everything about this charming villa! Great location to have as a base to visit beaches and a short walk into central Lagos. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is superb with lots of choices. (The only downside was the overly strong coffee). They booked us dinner reservations at the O Camilo nearby. (Reservations are a must for this gem of a seafood restaurant). We had dinner two evenings and the food and service was excellent. Nice selection of wines and the manager was super informative and Portuguese wines. We will return!

We had dinner after a long day of travelling outstanding waiter. Fab food all local produce from the olive oil, to the red wine vinegar , rose wine, fish of the day . Great service from staff with passion . Even my agri husband was happy . I’m delighted

Avoid the restaurant manager

I was humiliated by the manager of the restaurant at this hotel. I needed a spoon to eat my food in my room, and I was asked by the concierge to go to the restaurant and ask for it there. I went there and waited for the person as the bar to get attention. After the person behind the bar had done berating a waiter, he asked me to wait while he did some typing in his computer. After good 5 min of wait he asked me what I needed. I asked for a spoon and he refused. I did not understand why; I told him I was a patron and provided my room number and he started yelling at me that he won't give me a spoon as everything is in dishwasher. This was when there was a table next to him with a box full of spoons, forks and knives. After seeing my confused face, he then told me he has not gotten any information whether he should give me a spoon and I need to speak to front desk, to which I told him I did speak to them and they directed me to come to restaurant for it. To that he again yelled saying he is the manager of the restaurant and it is his decision whether to give me a spoon or not and he doesn't want to. This all happened in the restaurant and all the other patrons had stopped eating to look at this guy yelling at me. I did not respond to his behavior in the same manner. I quietly walked out since there was no point speaking to such a person. Later, I went to front desk and then that person went to the restaurant and got me the silverware. I have no idea why I was yelled at for asking a spoon.
