Dit hotel heeft een uitstekende ligging op slechts een paar minuten van de stad Portimão en het bruisende nachtleven van Praia da Rocha. Ferragudo zelf biedt restaurants, bars en haltes van het openbaar vervoer. Op slechts 800 meter van het hotel vinden de gasten schitterende goudkleurige zandstranden, omgeven door klippen die de hoofdattractie van de plaats vormen. Dit hotel ligt op slechts 65 km van de internationale luchthaven Faro.Door de planning van dit gedeelte biedt dit resort een rustige en veilige ligging, het is bijna als een privé-appartement, met uitzicht op de zee, de rivier en de nieuwe jachthaven van Ferragudo. Dit in 2008 gebouwde, moderne en hoogwaardige resort is de ideale plek om van een droomvakantie vol met onvergetelijke momenten te genieten. Het hotel heeft een eigentijdse stijl en een hoog niveau qua service en comfort. Het beschikt over in totaal 100 appartementen met 1 slaapkamer en 6 tweepersoonskamers. In dit van airconditioning voorziene complex hebben de gasten verder de beschikking over een ontvangsthal met 24 uur per dag geopende receptie en in- en uitcheckservice, een hotelkluis, een lift, een kleine supermarkt, een bar, een speelkamer en een televisielounge. Een restaurant, voorzieningen en internettoegang zijn ook aanwezig (tegen betaling). Gasten kunnen ook gebruik maken van de wasservice (tegen betaling). Verder is er een fietsenverhuur tegen betaling en voor gasten die met de auto arriveren, is parkeergelegenheid beschikbaar.

Mixed feelings, but mostly good. The complex is immaculate. I didn’t see anything out of place for the two weeks we were there. It was quiet when we were there (beginning of April). There was no entertainment and the bar appeared to close around 10:30 – 11pm. We had two adults and a sixteen year old boy sharing the apartment which had one double bedroom with open floor living room and kitchen area. The couch in the living room area has a pull out bed that we set up on one side the room. This allowed the living room area to be used at all times. Maid service were there every day making beds, mopping floors and emptying the bins. Clean towels were provided every other day. Pool areas consisted of one kids pool, one family pool and one quiet (adult) pool. Plenty of sunbeds around all three pools. The games room has a couple of arcade machines, a pool table and an air hockey table. There is a charge for using each of these. The laundry room had one washing machine and on dryer. There is a five euro charge for each of these and it includes detergent. Reception give you the token and detergent. The mini market on site does the basics. It’s a bit more expensive than the shop in the village, but it’s convenient. There is a Lidl supermarket about a mile from the complex. It’s an easy walk if you’re only getting a few things. If you want to do a bigger shop the staff at the checkout in Lidl will happily call a taxi for you. This will cost around 7 euro. The complex sits on a hill above the main village. The walk down to the main area is around 5 minutes. The walk back is a bit of a killer though. If you want to avoid the hill, you can come in another way. Cross the bridge at the square and turn left, you can follow the road round, take the first right and then you’ll see the sings for the complex. It’ll take you longer though, maybe 15 minutes? We were the for two weeks and the down sides for me were - The beds are solid. There’s no window or extractor fan in the toilet so steam from the shower has nowhere to go. With three of us having two showers a day I kind of felt the place feeling damp because of this, but that could just be me? If you want a sunny balcony, avoid Garca building, room 102a. there was absolutely no sun in the afternoon. The restaurant and bar are about 50% more expensive than the places in the village. It’s like they have a captive market and making the most of. I was a bit disappointed in that to be honest. Al in all, we had a lovely time and will definitely look at coming back.

Perfect stay

Amazing facility, clean, we structured, good facilities and amazing staff. Very high end with beautiful simplistic apartments and great balcony views (recommend getting a balcony). The pools are perfect for young and old, hotel layout is easy and easily accessible. Easy access to local towns such as Ferragudo town Centre, Portimao and lugoa. Uber is extremely reliable and cost efficient. For self catering there is a Lidl a 20 minute walk away or 4 min taxi ride. A great selection of food. All in all a great holiday and a perfect place to stay. Well done Vitors village ❤️

The dream!

This resort was the dream! So quiet which is just what I like when I go away. It was positive from start to finish, we arrived on Monday after dinner had finished and as the receptionist was checking us in she arranged for a lunch pack for us to make sure we had something to eat before we went to bed, this was very kind. The apartments had everything you needed, from a self catering kitchen that had all the amenities. We had opted for half board and the food was absolutely amazing. The breakfast had all the options for an English breakfast or a continental breakfast. The dinner was a three course sit down meal. The food was very fresh and tasty could not fault it. Nearest Beach was only a 15 minute walk which is nice to see surrounding village although they do have a courtesy bus should you not fancy the hills. All in all a fantastic resort and village.
