Algarve, only 2 hours south of Lisbon, offers soft golden sandy beaches with natural rock formations throughout the coast, water as warm as the Mediterranean. You can find a variety of small towns, such as: Albufeira, where the Moorish influence is abundantly obvious; Portimão, the famous fishing village; Sagres, famous for its school of Navigation, and Faro, the capital city of Algarve since the middle of the 16th century.

Fabulous stay.

We visited Pine Cliffs in May 2023 and throughly enjoyed our holiday. We very a mixed group, my mum and dad, myself and my partner and our disabled son. Everyone had a fab time. We stayed in a 3 bed apartment which was very large, beautiful presented, very clean and very well equipped. We loved having 4 balconies! Pool area near our apartment was beautiful, great service for drinks and lunches were delicious. We visited the beach a day which was super and ate in Mare restaurant which had stunning views. We also ate at Piri Piri steakhouse which was fantastic. I couldn’t fault the food in the resort but it is more expensive than eating outwith. My Dad and Partner enjoyed 2 rounds of golf and they said the course was excellent and beautifully kept. We used the shuttle bus regularly and it was a great service, just called from our room and the bus come normally within 15 mins straight to our door. If we went out of the resort we asked security to call the bus for us on returning and waited at entrance bus stop and never had long to wait for a bus. We could also walk from our apartment to the main hotel in about 15 mins. We used the supermarket opposite the entrance to the resort which is ideal. We also visited restaurants outwith the resort, great selection if you go right when leaving the resort. Main resort was beautiful and we loved walking round in the evening, games room great for kids, we also attended a wine tasting at the wine shop which was an excellent experience. The kids area also great, we enjoyed basketball and mini golf. Best of all were all the staff who made our stay very special, everyone was very friendly and helpful and really couldn’t do enough for us. We’ll be back!

Stunning location, everything about it was beautiful. We felt like we were in a luxurious paradise. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast had everything you could dream of and more. The beach and grounds were beautiful, clean and perfect. Can't wait to go back.

Nice grounds but rooms and service need attention.

Lovely grounds, however service and room were lacking. Lack of follow up from staff. We were locked out of the room for 30 minutes, because the card reader failed. Rooms need updating and some more attention. See photos of holes in towels, dirty walls, and shabby headboards and shower doors.
