Great hotel for a holiday stay

Lovely 3 night stay at this hotel in Krakow. It’s set away from the main city square but in a nice area near the river. Easy walk into main part town or other transportation like Uber for cheap, it’s also near the tram but I wasn’t sure how the tram worked so I just used Uber on occasion that I didn’t want to walk all the way in. It is also situated close to a few nice restaurants and there’s a convenience store just around the corner to pick up any drinks or snacks. The staff was friendly and the room was a good size with lots of space for storage and to put your things up. Excellent shower in a very good sized bathroom. Be aware the provided soap is an all-in-one shampoo/body wash. I prefer separate shampoo and conditioner and probably would have brought my own travel-sized bottles if I knew. The bed was fine, not luxury comfort but definitely comfortable enough to sleep well. I am an overweight/heavy person and it was a very supportive bed for me. The area and hotel are very quiet which is excellent for a good night’s rest. My only improvement would be that the curtains aren’t very thick and don’t block light well, the windows it covers are very large, so unfortunately in spring and summer when the sun comes up at 5:30 it was difficult to sleep in much past that. If light bothers you, I’d recommend packing a sleep mask - I didn’t and I wish I did! Breakfast was fine with a variety of options from eggs to cold cuts of meat to fruit to bread and cereals. Hotel was kind enough to store my luggage when I arrived before check-in so I could go explore in town and also allowed me to store it after the morning check-out as my flight wasn’t until evening. So I was able to fully use my time in Krakow without carrying my luggage around. All around a very good stay and definitely recommend for a short or long stay!

Lovely clean hotel, fantastic helpful and friendly staff on reception and serving food and drink. Great breakfast. Reasonable priced drinks in the bar. Clean rooms with mini bar, hairdryer, safe, hair and shower gel. Not much choice in evening meals unfortunately would be the only downside of this great hotel. We will definitely be returning soon!

Home from home by the Vistula

A neat, clean, friendly hotel on the outskirts of Krakow. Around two miles from the old market square, just across the Vistula. As we arrived too early to check in, very friendly receptionist allowed us to store our bags so that we could begin to explore the city. All floors were accessed by lift. my room was neat and clean, with a comfortable double bed, a shower / toilet and a small balcony facing east. Breakfast gave a large variety of cooked meats, cheeses, fish and fruit, in the usual Continental style. There were also three hot dishes, For the three mornings we were there, the offerings varied: There was always one dish of perfectly cooked scrambled eggs. the second contained English style sausages one day and frankfurters on the other two. The third on successive days contained beans, spring rolls and small, breaded potato balls. All well-cooked and tasty. We did not eat other meals there, preferring to explore cafes and restaurants in the city. At all times, the reception staff were helpful, friendly, in formative and made us feel as home
