U bent van harte welkom in de gezellige bar en in het restaurant La Scala. We just checked in and the Service Manager Kimberley was so kind and so welcoming to us. She upgraded us a diamond members to a lovely room and was very friendly to both of us. We are here for 7 nights and feel so at home. Thank you to the team in the executive lounge too

A very nice hotel in Vienna

Six night stay in early May . A well located and well maintained property run by hard working professional and very welcoming staff . Special thanks to Ricard who was invaluable assisting us with our itinerary and restaurant reservations . Very crowded breakfast buffet was constantly kept to the highest standards by the diligent staff . We enjoyed visiting the spacious and well stocked executive lounge on the second floor but nothing beats the great evening cocktails prepared for us by the very friendly staff at the Emile bar . I booked a corner room with my HH points and was assigned a corner room . However on arrival the friendly receptionist told me that as a diamond member I was upgraded to a corner room on the executive 8th floor . The room was nice and well furnished and the bathroom very adequate but was identical to other corner rooms in lower floors . Since this is a downtown and not a beachfront hotel one neither expects nor one gets the advantage of a better view with a higher floor . In fact the only "advantage" of a higher floor in a busy hotel is more elevator stops . I always book my room of choice and never expect or demand an upgrade knowing that most hotels will offer it if available . Frankly to be offered a false upgrade was a tad insulting and offending .

Pretty Pleased with the Plaza.

The hotel is in a great location. It’s an easy walk to the old town and right across the road from the tram stop. Our King Plaza Executive Room, on the corner of the eighth floor was of ample size, comfortably furnished and offered views down the main street. The big bathroom had a separate shower and bathtub plus toiletries in eco-friendly dispensers. Breakfast in the restaurant was impressive, offering a good selection of cereals, bakery items and the usual bainmaries, plus eggs to order, including eggs benedict. Evening, pre-dinner snacks consisted of soup with rolls, cheese and dips plus a selection of wine, beer and spirits. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pre-stay emails were answered promptly and requests granted. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I was given a welcome gift, a room upgrade, full buffet breakfast in the restaurant and Executive Lounge access.
