Het hotel bevindt zich in het centrum van de wijk Schuettdorf aan de zuidwestelijke kust van het schitterende en schone meer Zeller See. Restaurants, bars, uitgaansgelegenheden, haltes van het openbaar vervoer en mogelijkheden om te winkelen zijn in de directe omgeving te vinden. Het centrum van Zell am See en de kust van het meer liggen beide op ongeveer 30 minuten wandelen.Dit skihotel heeft 106 kamers en suites in drie categorieën. Het heeft een heel nieuwe uitstraling sinds de renovatie. Tot de voorzieningen behoren een ontvangsthal, een lift, verschillende restaurants, een pizzeria, conferentievoorzieningen, internettoegang, een tuin en een terras. Verder zijn er ook een aantal bars, waaronder een pub en een dansbar.De gasten verblijven in gezellige tweepersoonskamers met een lichte, natuurlijke houten lambrisering. De kamers hebben standaard een eigen badkamer met douche en handdoekwarmers, een haardroger, een telefoon, satelliet-/kabeltelevisie, een radio, internettoegang, een kluisje en een balkon.Een binnenbad, een sauna, een fitnesscentrum en stoombaden met een verfrissende zone zorgen voor complete ontspanning en innerlijke rust. Er is een schoonheidsgedeelte waar schoonheidsbehandelingen en massages aangeboden worden. Het hotel biedt ook Aqualux: een speciale ervaring voor de gasten waarbij men in een bad met authentiek zout uit de Dode Zee zit en tegelijkertijd zont in het geïntegreerde solarium. Er zijn ook een gewoon solarium en fitnessapparatuur van Technogym beschikbaar. Buiten zijn ligstoelen en parasols beschikbaar.Hier lonken culinaire hoogstandjes. In de restaurants worden zowel internationale gerechten als regionale specialiteiten uit Pinzgau geserveerd. Het ontbijt wordt als buffet aangeboden. Het diner is beschikbaar als buffet of van een vast menu.

Overall this a very nice hotel, we stayed for skiing during February half-term 2023. The reception on arrival was pretty brusque, and not really helpful after a day of travel, but once in our rooms all was well. The rooms themselves were great for skiing, warm (but not stupid hot like a lot of ski hotels) good powerful showers and nice linen, they were kept appropriately clean. Breakfast was excellent a wide range of coffee options, fruit juices, continental and cooked options as well as cereals and fresh fruit. After skiing there was a really nice late afternoon hot stew and bread available free of charge which we very welcome and delicious. In the evening we used the Pizza/ Italian restaurant attached to the bar, the food was well priced and decent quality, from a modest menu selection, the staff were friendly and efficient. The main facilities we used were the pool and spa areas, both are really pleasant areas. The pool was unsurprisingly very noisy during peak times (5 - 7pm) with the post ski kids brigade, but at other times was a tranquil place to have a swim and chill out. The Spa was a lovely space (fully nude as is normal in Austria) with two different temperature saunas, a steam room, infrared room as well as plenty of anti rooms to chill in. The other facility we made use of was the ski storage room, which like the rest of the hotel was spotlessly clean. The room itself has heated boot store and plentiful ski racks and has it’s own exit onto the street. Next door is a Late Check Out room, which has a shower and toilet for use if you want to ski after check out. The whole ground floor area is well throughout and feels well made and probably recently constructed. We really enjoyed our time there, nothing was stand out exceptional, but everything was clockwork, very good.

Avoid this unrenovated hotel!

The history is longer! I made a reservation in January 2020 for the ski season. In early April when we should have gone. Due to the Covid epidemic, we could not stay because they informed us that they are obliged to keep the location closed. When I asked, countless times, for a refund of the deposit paid for the reservation, I was told that they do not want to do this and that they will offer us a stay in other periods from which the amount paid as a deposit will be deducted. Thus we were forced to go this year in August. What I found there was terrifying! The photos I am posting speak of the sorry state the hotel is in. Old and scratched furniture, dirty and damaged doors and walls, the scratched floors, the swollen parquet, the torn carpets. The condition of the hotel and the size of the rooms make it one of 1 maximum 2 stars! Analyzing the pictures, you can also see what I have told you! My conclusion is that this hotel should be avoided!

I would look elsewhere if staying in Zell Am See

The hotel is "tired" and clearly used by coach tours who stay for one night and then move on. It desperately needs a facelift and bringing into the 21st century. At the same time staff need to be educated on how to best treat customers as they are face of the hotel and its business ethos. We experienced rude and unfriendly staff during our two night stay.
