Park Centraal Amsterdam (voorheen Park Hotel Amsterdam) is in 2019 volledig gerenoveerd en is perfect voor reizigers die opzoek zijn naar cultuur, design en haute cuisine in hartje Amsterdam. Er kan gebruik gemaakt worden van de hightech voorzieningen, privéparkeergelegenheid, fitnessruimte die 24 uur geopend is en gratis Wi-Fi.Park Centraal Amsterdam is perfect voor reizigers die geïnteresseerd zijn in musea, cultuur en wandelen. We visited Amsterdam for a couple of days for vacation. The hotel was in a nice location. Small rooms but the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was in a closet type in the room that surprised me but wasn’t so bad at the end.

2nd time staying here and already planning a third visit

Our second time staying here and staff are always helpful and friendly. Perfect central location enables you to walk into the city centre in minutes. We haven’t tried breakfast here so can’t comment to that but no complaints and the hotel at all.

We stayed here for 3 nights in mid-May. To begin with the positives, the hotel is in a fantastic location. We had tickets to visit the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijks Museum, both of which are just a 5 minute walk away. We also liked the modern design of the public spaces (although on closer inspection some areas need a lick of paint), and we found the reception staff very helpful. However, despite having booked a deluxe room, the first room we were given was very small. The whole of that floor (the first floor) also had a really bad smell (like cabbage). Our room also had a connecting door to the next room, and the absence of a proper wall meant that we could hear every word of the inhabitants’ conversation! When I raised all of this with one of the reception team, we were moved to a much bigger room on the 5th floor. This was a very spacious and quiet room but the design was a bit odd - the furniture choices looked a bit cheap for a 4 star hotel, and the lack of a proper carpet added to the “cheap” impression. That said, the bed was comfortable and we had a good view over the Amsterdam rooftops.
