A lovely place staff were really friendly especially the restaurant staff and events team Angie was amazing made it really fun to stay. Could do a pool party with inflatables and please change the Magician he was very dated!!

April spring break trip

We went first week of April. Overall great time. Buffet great for breakfast. Also did grill near beach for breakfast which was good too. Do not go to buffet for dinner. Lukewarm food that has been sitting out. I watched someone refill french fries and took them immediately after and they were cold and stale. The poolside grill place with hamburgers can get long lines, they should have 2 people working line during lunch hours. Japanese hibachi definitely worth visit, book for the teppanyaki show. Drinks are better made than the average all inclusive. But still watered down or something. Rooms are nice, beds comfortable. Our 2 kids had a blast and lived in the pool. Beach chairs get grabbed by 830am. Coco cafe great for coffee drinks and gelato. Beach is what it is with sargassum but we knew that before going. Kids club great, loved nightly movies. We lost a few items and luckily did get a stuffed animal back that was taken by cleaning staff in bed sheets. However on Wednesday 4/5/23, 2 days before we left, we lost my daughter's muslin baby blanket. Was accidentally bundled into towels and thrown in towel bin by pool. We realized within an hour but bin had been cleared. We told concierge right away. We knew exactly when and where it had been puy on the day lost. I wish someone had just taken me to laundry room right then to go through towel bins. I should have demanded to go. I would have looked myself for hours if necessary to find it. It would have been found since I knew it was in towels from the pool that afternoon. Their lost &found works by you telling front desk, describing item or showing photo, and then they call down and someone else checks based on description they use. They're very nice but that's crazy system, too many people to go through! They should let visitors physically see objects in lost and found. Organize by type in different bins. Or at the least they should take photos of each found object (which would take 2 seconds), put in Google photo album by week, and let client look through digital album to find object. That could all be done on a phone and very easy! Hand client tablet to flip through images. It would be very easy. Instead they have archaic book of found objects with written description. We checked religiously for it to turn up. They never did find it. It makes no sense. It was 4 ft square muslin white blanket with faded flowers. It looked nothing like the dark towels. But could have been confused for a bed linen/sheet. I have sent multiple emails since I've been home and no one has ever once responded. My daughter had this blanket since she was born and she's 4 and used it every single night. She cried endlessly. She still asks about it almost 2 months after. We spent a lot of money there and a response would have been nice.

We stayed for 10 nights in May. This is a lovely hotel. Very clean, helpful staff. We booked a Preferred Club room, overlooking the sea and pool. It's certainly worth upgrading, the room was lovely, fabulous views. We liked the preferred club lounge bar, good drinks. Excellent entertainment team, loads of different activities to try, I loved the Zumba dancing Don't worry about the number of weddings, they are managed really well and don't negativity impact on everyone else. Restaurants very good. Pools lovely, beach very nice, the team worked very hard everyday to clear the seaweed, so it really isn't a problem. The only slight negative was that we found some of the drinks were rather weak, apart from the perferd club, however this didn't spoil our stay. We would recommend Dreams resort.
