Gelegen op slechts 4 km van Marrakesh, tegenover de Palmeraie en de besneeuwde bergtoppen van het Atlasgebergte, verwelkomt het hotel zijn gasten in het hart van een gehuchtje met lemen huizen aan de oever van de rivier de Tensift. Twee keer per dag kunnen de gasten met de gratis pendeldienst naar het stadscentrum. De luchthaven Marrekech-Menara bevindt zich op ongeveer 13 km van het hotel.Het hotel heeft de charme van een pension met de service die u in de beste hotels vindt, natuurlijk niet te vergeten, de schitterende voorzieningen van een sportclub, een kapsalon en 26 van airconditioning voorziene kamers, waaronder een suite en een gezinskamer. Het hele gebouw is voorzien van airconditioning en biedt zijn gasten bovendien een speelkamer, een televisielounge, een café, een bar, een restaurant en voorzieningen voor conferenties. Draadloze internettoegang, wasservice, parkeergelegenheid en een fietsenverhuur op het terrein zorgen voor extra gemak voor de gasten.De kamers zijn in de echte, traditioneel Marokkaanse stijl ingericht in de kleuren van Marrakesh, die een aangename en rustige atmosfeer creëren. Elke kamer heeft een eigen badkamer, een tweepersoonsbed, satelliet-/kabeltelevisie, internettoegang, een kluisje, een wasmachine en een strijkijzer met strijkplank. Marrakesh everything we hoped for and more!

This traditional Moroccan Riad is about 30 minutes outside of the Marrakesh medina. It’s location is a remote desert setting surrounded by a residential village with lots of young kids, groups of camels, ATV rentals, palm trees and stray dogs. The Riad itself is authentic, an old fort like structure with a beautiful open courtyard complete with flowering plants and koi. There are 26 rooms, all ensuite, with modern plumbing and comfortable beds. Bedding is changed and rooms are cleaned daily. There is a heater/AC in every room. There are three dining rooms, two opening out onto beautiful potted gardens and a smaller one in the area of a well stocked bar. Breakfast was available every morning before guests left for their tours & was more than enough to last us all until tea time. Fruit, pastries, pie, cakes, eggs, toast and fresh buns, orange juice, coffee, tea, milk and hot water. The menu for dinner was not huge but covered more than enough choices of home made meals, soups, salad and fish. All served with fresh bread & bottled water. We tried the local Casablanca wine and it was lovely! Hassan, the Kasbah’s wonderful driver took us up into Atlas Mountains, on a breathtaking tour of remote Berber villages, cafes and craft shops. We had a tour of the location for filming of Game of Thrones and walked in and around the oldest Kasbah in North Africa. Hassan also drove us to Essaouira on the coast and gave us a tour along the way. Goats in trees, Argan Oil co-ops and the medina. Hassan’s English is limited but his French was easy to understand even though our high school French was last studied almost 60 years ago.

A little refuge from the bustle and noise of Marrakech full of authentic Morrocan charm

Having read the reviews regarding location I was not without concerns during the journey. However hold your nerve because the reception we received on arrival was warm and friendly. If you want a perfect hotel then choose one of many in the city centre but for authentic Morrocan charm and hospitality this is a little gem. Without exception the staff could not do enough for us. They were kind and thoughtful and no request was too much trouble. Thankyou to all of you for a great stay.

Moroccan hotel-Riad with excellent food and impeccable service

Very long stay that went perfectly well. I had the opportunity to change rooms 2 times at the beginning until I found the room at my convenience. Everything is perfect in this hotel which is obviously not a new holiday resort complex. But if you are looking for serenity, this little corner of oasis with a paradisiacal look already almost in the desert, with an à la carte restaurant and 1/2 board excellent Moroccan and continental dishes, even delicious, and this every day, an attentive service and available at any time, a shuttle round trip Marrakech 2 times a day free and punctual, a laundry, Hamam and massage treatments, gas heating in the cold mornings in the breakfast space, a quiet pool area soaked in background music, the warmth and conviviality of the fireplace in the evening - you will have the desire to return soon, and a full of happy memories to take home.
