Deze gesofisticeerde riad is gelegen in Marrakech. De riad bevindt zich op 10 meter van het stadscentrum waardoor alle bezienswaardigheden gemakkelijk te bereiken zijn. Er zijn 56 uitnodigende eenheden. Dit etablissement werd ondergebracht in een gebouw dat dateert uit 1850 maar werd volledig heringericht in 2012. Het etablissement beschikt over een wifi-internetverbinding in de openbare ruimtes en de slaapkamers. De receptie is 24 uur per dag geopend. Er zijn geen kinderbedjes beschikbaar in Angsana Riads Collection Marrakech. De parkeerruimte kan handig zijn voor wie met de auto aankomt. Beautiful, typical riad with friendly staff and great food. Not a special enough roof top experience for me to return.

We booked with EasyJet holidays and were assigned a room in the riad Bab Fridaus. This is the spa riad literally around the corner from the main reception / dinner riad. It’s in a safe enough road with a few shops and residential properties surrounding us. Stray cats and a few cockroaches, interesting smells and scooters outside - it’s Marrakech! The Bahia palace parking lot is around the corner too so it’s helpful to be able to get a taxi back home to avoid navigating the rabbit warren of souk streets every time you go out. The place des ferblantiers square is close by as is the Bahia palace - 3 minute walk maybe. The other way towards the main square is a narrow street lined with the stalls selling the tourist stuff you find all over the city. Calmer shopping experience than the main soul area. Amazing restaurants there too. The main square etc weren’t a long walk at all and a long street directly there so it would be hard to get lost going up to it. You get a key fob to open the front door and the rooms are padlocked shut which you have the key for. Our room was small, I think of you book direct you get better rooms? Breakfast was in this riad too but you can have it in the prettier busier main riad too if you wish. We ate dinner on the first night and it was delicious. The courtyard style means you can hear people setting up breakfast and the birds woke me up each morning. The bolts on the doors were extremely loud which woke me up as our neighbours got in. Generally in most riads they are quiet places as there are limited rooms and people don’t tend to disturb the peaceful setting. They allowed smoking on the roof and second floor balconies. It’s all outside so wasn’t a problem. Oil burners with your chosen scent were lit in the room so they always smelt gorgeous. The roof of bab fridaus had straw hats and fans and sun loungers. No views and it didn’t smell great up there. We visited but it wouldn’t be a place to spend the day. The main Si Said rooftop had a nice green pergola on it but again no views. The spa was exceptionally beautiful and the Thai ladies doing the Hammam and massage were professional and kind. It’s very revealing in those paper pants. Make sure you are comfortable with your partner as there’s only one treatment room. The staff were friendly and attentive, gave you a phone to use GPS and call reception etc. it didn’t have google maps that showed the direction you were facing so not as useful as our own phone but a nice gesture. They arranged taxis (a little surcharge on the taxi fare) but they escort you and you know they are safe. I choose this collection to view and access a few riads as that’s a key reason I stay in the medina, we only saw those two and although we could’ve asked to see the others they didn’t really have roof tents or pools so it felt a little weird to go to other peoples accommodations. Overall the riads were stunning the staff were great the location was central and interesting. This was my fourth trip and wasn’t my favourite place to stay so I would try another riad next time. Mainly as the doors were so noisy.

What an amazing place to stay Staff are professional and welcoming Restaurant ambience and food was perfect We had such a lovely time here It’s just what I imagined a morrocan riad to be like The fragrance in rooms and hotel was amazing The cleanliness was 5 star

We had a really lovely short break in the Angsana Riads this week. We were meant to be staying at the Riad that's situated a little walk away but when we arrived, we were shown a room that was in Riad Blanche - and we decided to stay there instead. The Riad is in the heart of the old cobbled-y streets just a couple of minutes walk from the vibrant city square. ~It felt like a world away from the hustle and bustle (and noise) of the city....the Riad was silent and soooo peaceful. Everything - and I mean EVERYTHING - was superb!!! We literally couldn't fault it. We would go back to Angsana Riads without even a moments doubt. Comfortable, Clean, Hospitable, Friendly, Kind, Restful and a PERFECT set of Riads for a short break away. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so pleasant and easy.
