Good when the weather is clement

Overall good hotel, friendly staff, good food selection lovely location. Rooms small but adequate. However, it is spread out over several blocks which is fine when sunny but we had 5 days of heavy rain. No umberellas available for guests leading to some soggy meals. Also. the indoor bar is inadequate in wet weather, too small and not enough seating meaning we had to spend several evenings in our room.

Before you think of booking this hotel, beware, off peak season there are only four ferries a day. we had to wait two hours for our outbound crossing. even worse, we were picked up at 04:45 am for a 14:55pm flight, 7 hours at Split airport with no restaurants (only snack bar) and no shops (just a duty free). Crossing itself is pleasant and takes 2 hours. Now the hotel. It is situated in a lovely location. Sea crystal clear surrounded by pine forest. It is really only 3 star but plenty of sunbeds and a nice pool. Downside, when the weather is bad, the indoor lounge/bar has only room for about 30 people so nowhere to sit for most guests - needs a redesign. Staff were good in the bar and never waited long to be served. There is only one restaurant! No Trattatoria! Food buffet style, good choices unless you are a real foodie1 Rooms are reasonable size, clean, good shower and our sea view room had a lovely outlook. However, there is no mini bar, just a fridge and our room had no hairdryer asked on two separate occasions to borrow one, never materialised, Long way from town of Hvar. Trip cost 24 Euros per person on shared minibus for 4 hours. So Hotel is remote.

My Honest opinion - Like it..or Not..!!

On arrival - There was only one check in staff on reception..A wedding party was booking in - so many guests were getting frustrated at the wait. Posters and stickers stating an ATM was in reception. I went to reception and asked where the ATM was ..only to be told there isn`t one and I would have to go to a bank in the town..!! I said why is there posters and stickers stating you have an ATM in reception and was told .."We haven`t taken them down yet, we stopped having one when we converted to the Euro"..!!!! That was ages ago..!!! The pretty LED lights behind the headboard.. had exposed wires connected to a terminal block - I reported this on the first day..stayed for four nights...and nothing was done, by the time I left. 2 x sachets of Coffee and 2 of sugar where in our room.. and not replenished - for the rest of the stay.. If they couldn`t be bothered to re-stock...then I couldn`t be bothered to ask..!! The hotel was nice and clean - my room was a sea view (through the trees).. was light and airy - the food was plentiful...Breakfast, lunch and dinner was buffet style
