Het hotel ligt op 7. 0 kilometer van het dichtstbijzijnde strand. Wie in deze accommodatie verblijft, kan er genieten van een vredig en ontspannend verblijf. Er zijn in totaal 15 gastenkamers. Het gebouw dateert uit 1500 maar werd helemaal heringericht in 2013. De accommodatie beschikt over een wifi-internetverbinding in de openbare ruimtes en de gastenkamers. Classy hotel in Venetian style, great location, very helpful staff. Top value.

From a pre-Covid booking for 2020, the hotel held a credit for us until we could travel in 2023! They met all our needs during our stay in Venice, including their helpful map. Breakfasts included were huge, with many choices and very quick service. All staff speak English and other languages. Quiet but convenient location for vaporetti lines on Grand Canal and St Toma traghetto service across the Canal. The hotel has full Venetian style - plain outside but marble and mirrors and baroque style inside. Rooms and beds very comfortable. Not cheap, but nothing in Venice is cheap, and this hotel is good value for the Venice experience.

The breakfast is beautiful and the staff are lovely, but unfortunately the room really let the stay down for us. We stayed in a room on the other side of the hotel that can only be accessed via the courtyard and external stairs. The biggest issue we had is that there was no air-con! The heat of a night was unbearable and we had no option but to open the windows, we were eaten alive by the mosquitoes in the room! My advice is take mosquito repellent! The room was tiny but we didn’t mind as we were out and about a lot. The room and bathroom was clean enough, but not to the level I expected for a 4 star hotel. The shower would run to only like warm depending on what time of day it was and how long we were in there. It’s in a great location, central(ish) to everything, great for those people wanting to walk/explore Venice. There is a lovely restaurant (Osteria Fanal del Codega) a couple of doors down that has the most amazing food! Reservations are needed though as it’s always booked up of an evening.

1. Location: in San Polo, short walk to water taxi station. Rate $265 USD in Mid-April for standard room that was well spent. 2. Room: standard room on ground floor that skipped the stairs was a plus for us because we had stretched our legs out too much already. Very spacious room with a private patio. Beautiful Layout and every single item was dressed as royalty. It was amazing that our room door opened out directly to the dining table and dining room, but its condition hypnotized me in the way that I loved it. Bed/Pillows/Mattress: huge bed and very comfortable. 3. Bathroom: narrow room with standing shower but had very well mosaic-design wall and floor and well taken care of that I am in love with. 4. Cleanliness: Superb 5. Breakfast: OMG so many colorful dishes. I took pictures for memories but did not have time to enjoy them due to the early tour. 6. AC: not applied in April. Noise: none. 7. Service: the best service I’ve ever had. One staff was on his way home but found us returning to the hotel for the luggage and out of breath (we already checked out early that morning for the tour), he brought us coffees and offered more snacks before he took off. The other Asian staff chat with us while he was available. He loves his job and is proud of the hotel. I would love to extend the stay if I did not pre-book the next town and next tours. Two days and one night were unfinished business in Venice: hospitality, sight-seeing, food testing, and shopping. Although there might be more wonderful hotels nearby and although I would like to try another location on this island, I would be mad if I will not return to this hotel and staffs. The hotel owners do a wonderful job so that if I knew the other hotels that you own I would stay there.
