While located directly across from the Santa Lucia train station, getting to the hotel requires detailed directions as you will have to navigate the narrow sidewalks / alleys to get there. Once there, it is a lovely hotel, with a nice sitting / dining area and the rooms were accommodating and comfortable. Very friendly staff and access to the Grand Canal is only 100 yards away.

Avoid. Unless you want an old dusty room with faeces left in the bathroom and accused of all sorts for giving a review

On arrival bathroom was filthy, we had faeces in the bidet and loo. it was late when we got to hotel so cleaned ourselves. Room we booked “superior” was not like the photos on booking.com at all and no city view. More a basic dusty room. Left a review on booking.com to then be accused of all sorts. We are a mature married couple and to be accused of causing damage is so disappointing and wrong. We are in total shock. Avoid this hotel at all costs

Quiet and clean area.

This lovely hotel featured a large hot breakfast, with some of the best cappucino and pastry in addition to bacon and eggs. The room featured a fridge, a safe, a tub/shower and a bidet. The beds can be put together as a king, or separated as twins. Located in the Santa Croce area, just behind the parent hotel, the Carlton on the Grand Canal, in a quiet neighborhood, near the Scalzi bridge. I’d stay here again!
