Very comfortable and very friendly snd helpful staff. Great breakfast and fun to have breakfast and coffee (very good) outside watching the people. Super close to train station (directly across the canal) so easy to get to! Also great Gondole ride in front of hotel. Only negative for me were the very hard and flat pillows.

We arrived about 10 45 am and were asked if we wanted an upgraded room, a small suite. It wasn’t ready yet but they showed it to us and we took it. They said it would be ready by noon. It was outside and down an alley (of which there are many in Venice). When we returned at noon our luggage was in the room waiting. We were only there two nights. The breakfast is a typical Italian one of pastries,cold cuts, fruit,etc. They give you a free trip to Murano island to a glass factory and showroom. Murano glass is the finest made in the world and well worth the visit. Service was excellent!! They couldn’t do enough for you. Checkout was noon but we had a 3:18 train. They held our luggage and called a porter to pick it up at 2:30. When we returned they had two shirts that I had left in the closet. The hotel is across the canal from the train station. If you have luggage make sure to get a porter to take it for you. Well worth it to get over the bridge.

Lovely Hotel, Perfectly situated

Lovely small hotel perfectly situated on the Grand Canal opposite the railway station and close to the Bus station and taxi area so you dont have a really long walk to get there. Extremely friendly and professional staff looked after us well and were happy to share local knowledge and advice. Nice buffet breakfast. The rooms are all decorated in a traditional Venetian style and are spacious, well equipped and comfortable. They have cafe style tables immediately outside where you can sit with a drink and watch the antics of the Canal.
