Dit hotel is gelegen in een rustig groen gedeelte, op slechts 3 km van Vaticaanstad en het stadscentrum. Aansluitingen op het openbaar vervoer liggen op ongeveer 800 meter en het station van Trastevere ligt op ongeveer 3 km afstand. De luchthavens Rome Ciampino en Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino liggen op respectievelijk 35 km en 25 km afstand van het hotel. Dit hotel is de perfecte oplossing voor een zakenverblijf of vakantie in de Eeuwige Stad. Het hotel heeft kamers, waarvan sommige met eigen balkon en uitzicht op het park. Op het grote terras van de leuke Anfora Bar kunnen de gasten genieten van fraai uitzicht op het zwembad en de mooie tuinen. Het hotel is omgeven door een groot buitengedeelte met schitterende tuinen.

Great hotel - awful food provision.

We stayed here for 10 nights on business and the hotel was lovely apart from the food and beverage options which were dire. I was in a twin room and there was a good amount of space, it was quiet and had all the plugs and amenities you would wish for. The hotel is a little way out of Rome centre so you should factor in prices for taxis each way - there really is nothing around the hotel without a 20 min walk with a significant hill and minimal pavements! The pool area was beautiful - and the spa was pretty good - I had a massage which was quite nice. The big issue, especially with the lack of restaurants around the hotel is the absolutely awful food and beverage service. The bar only does ‘toasties’ which are very expensive and not worth the money. We could not get into the restaurant as it was always ‘booked’ despite a lot of empty tables. When we did look at the menu it was very limited. This is the one thing that would put me off returning - if they improvised this part then the hotel would be a great place to stay.

Small rooms big pool

Our two night stay at the Hotel Villa Pamphili was underwhelming. Our first impression of the lobby was that of a dated (or badly decorated) hotel that had a very funky smell (later revealed to be eminating from the spa two floors below). We had the "family suite", a one bedroom suite with a hide-a-bed in the "living room", 1 full bathroom, 1 powder room and a "kitchen" with a bar fridge. The suite was tiny dispite the 2 balconies with not enough chairs for all of us to sit. The rooms were full of mosquitos and I left with 20+ bites. (management shrugged off this issue) The hotel is far from everything so you have to have transportation to get you anywhere but on the plus side, it is only 20 minutes from the airport. It appears to cater mainly to bus tours and conferences. Other pluses include a very comprehesive buffet breakfast (included in the price of the room), a reasonable spa (the central and large hot tub/pool is nice) which you can use of 20 Euro each, and a large outdoor swimming pool with poolside bar service.

Nice Hotel just outside of city center. Rooms were comfortable and enjoyed the view. Breakfast was good, but limited options in the afternoon and evening. Nice pool. Hotel staff was accommodating of requests and very helpful.
