Dit comfortabele hotel ligt in Trevi. Het etablissement bevindt zich in het stadscentrum waardoor vele bezienswaardigheden gemakkelijk te voet te bereiken zijn. Het etablissement beschikt in totaal over 25 behaaglijke slaapkamers. Het in 1900 gebouwde etablissement werd volledig heringericht en gerenoveerd in 2005. Een wifi-internetverbinding is beschikbaar voor extra comfort en gemak. Wie in dit etablissement verblijft, zal zeer op prijs stellen dat de receptie 24 uur per dag geopend is. Helaas zijn er geen eenheden waar klanten om een kinderbedje voor de allerkleinsten kunnen vragen. Daarenboven heeft Hotel Fontana milieuvriendelijke maatregelen getroffen om de impact op het milieu te minimaliseren en is het in het bezit van een certificering. Het is mogelijk dat voor sommige services van Hotel Fontana moet worden bijbetaald.

I was very excited to come here. However, only one table-seating provides for the actual view of the Trevi fountain which was occupied by guests for way too long even after they were done with their drinks. It is an enclosed setting, so do not expect an al-fresco/proper rooftop experience. For a steep entrance fee of £25, you only get one cocktail (worth £ 10/15 on the menu) with some peanuts and wafers. Anything additional you order needs to be paid for. This would certainly justified thinking you are really paying for the view you expect to be attached to it. However, given the lack of view from all the othe tables and the 2 windows being occupied by people constantly taking pictures, I personally don't think it it worth the money/hype attached to the view and rooftop experience. You can see the pictures and decide for yourself.

Perfect for quick trips! Worth the cost for the view!

My sister and I stayed in a room with the view of the Trevi Fountain for one night while having a quick 24 hrs in Rome. This was the absolute perfect location for this quick trip. The hotel has private transportation from the airport available to purchase, which was great, then then the view was AMAZING! We also had some drinks at the rooftop bar overlooking the fountain as well. Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were exactly as pictured on the website, the view was very cool! Absolutely worth every penny!

A short break in rome

We would like to thank all of the staff at hotel fontana for a very enjoyable stay. We arrived early and left our luggage at the hotel and when we arrived later to check in the luggage had been taken to our room. The reception staff were friendly and efficient as was all of the staff during our stay especially the breakfast staff. Our allocated room was spacious and well furnished. There was a TV but we didn't use it. The bathroom was well equipped and lavish but down several granite steps. For some these might pose a hazard and we were offered a change of room if we felt this might be the case. It wasn't a problem for us. Not every room can have a fountain view and our room had a view of roof tops and one of the windows had a partial view of the top of the fountain monument. There was an excellent view of the fountain from the terrace breakfast room. A central location and short walk to attractions and good restaurants.
