Warning - Hotel is unsafe

I attended a conference at Novotel in April 2023. It is very disappointing that both me and my colleague's entire laptop bags, together with passport and other documents were taken from the conference room itself. The hotel has no security at all except for cameras. When the situation happens, I notice the hotel does not have any security personnel which is unexpected of a 4-star hotel. I wanted to write this note to warn others as this can happen to anyone anywhere in the hotel.

Situated a good bit out. Bus route is a brisk 15 minute walk. Bus takes 15 minute to get to Vience. Hotel clean. Breakfast and restaurant more like a school canteen . No atmosphere and staff out their depth in respect of good service. If happy to pay cheap for your stay then its okay. Sorry not what we expected . Nothing in area to go to for food or beers.

The worst Novotel. Awful, unprofessional staff.

The worst Novotel. Avoid this Novotel in name only. You will probably be deceived at this hotel as I was. They cancelled my fully paid and confirmed reservation and didn’t inform me about it (just didn’t response to my emails). And I’ve been a loyal Accor ALL Gold member for years. Just avoid this hotel. Marco Majocino is the worst, absolutely good for nothing, hotel manager I’ve ever met.
