Beautiful setting for dinner or drinks

The 5th floor restaurant and bar is a great place for a drink. The views from the rooftop are fabulous and you feel like you can almost touch the Duomo. The waiter did sneer at me when I asked for a capucchino after dinner, but he brought me one. This is a beautiful hotel and rooftop restaurant and worth a splurge

Some great things but issues that could be fixed

This hotel has a lot going for it but there are issues. The positives: location is amazing!! Right next to the train station and within walking distance to everything. The rooftop terrace is beautiful. The views from our terrace garden view room of the Duomo is incredible. The lobby is beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly. The issues: the A/C problem is serious! The a/c barely works. We visited in the spring. Lucky for us we could sleep with the terrace doors open. It was the only way to stay cool. The bathroom situation was rough! Our tub has no flat surface so very difficult to stand safely in the shower. The shower head was squashed up against wall so far that you had to practically hug the wall to get water on your body… in a tub you cannot stand up in. No shower curtain and just a tiny half glass wall. It was terrible. This place could use a bit of a spruce up as they have SO much to work with!!

Baglioni hotel good but not worth it

The hotel was in the center of the city ,the rooms were clean and the breakfast was quite good with view of whole Florence. Also the staff was polite. But…it was really expensive not value for money at all, with very old designed and small rooms that doesn’t justify the price.
