Lovely refuge

This hotel is centrally located. Everything in Reykjavik is an easy walk from here. The interior is tastefully appointed, the rooms are comfortable with some nice luxurious touches. This was a lovely refuge from our rainy and cold excursions in and around Reykjavik. The breakfast is absolutely lovely. Try the homemade bread selections available.

Excellent Experience - Centrally Located

I selected this hotel because of its location and I was very pleased. The hotel is easy to get to from the BSI bus terminal and connecting buses. It's walkable to the Food Tour and Phallic Museum, and the breakfast and rooms were excellent. I had a single room that, while petite, was just fine for me. Great use of space and amazing water pressure. I'd definitely stay here again.

Three day stopover

We have stayed at the Apotek before, and as per our previous day, everything was excellent. The front desk staff goes above and beyond to ensure everything is wonderful during your time there. The breakfast is outstanding, and we had a traditional Icelandic dinner at the restaurant with wine pairing that was exceptional. The location is also convenient and centrally located, we would recommend the Apotek without reservations.
