Lovely hotel! Ignore the bad reviews

Lovely hotel! You won’t be disappointed. I’m really not sure why some people go on holiday, is it just to have a moan? I have read some of the reviews on here and I am flabbergasted. This hotel and staff are great! When we go on holiday we go to have a good time and make the most of the short time we have there, not worry about some of the things people complain about. The mini bar is filled with beer, water, Pepsi, Sprite. If you run out ask reception and they send to fill it immediately. If you are in a room which is at the top of the hotel the hotel offer a free golf buggy service to your room with no issues, if you dial 0 from the room they will also come to collect you. The drink at the bar are branded, you have Baileys, disorono, Bacardi, Jonnie walker, martini, plus a list of cocktails, pina colada being my favourite, the mrs liked sex on the beach. The moonlight restaurant was fab, make you book as soon as you arrive. The all inclusive Buffett is what you would expect, enough to pick to get you by for the week. The bus is across the road, where you can get to Lindos €2.80 and Old Rhodes town €7.10. If you come out of the hotel and go right you come to shops and a cafe/restaurant called ‘Gres’ they do a good full English and nice food in the evening at a reasonable price, they also have multiple screen to watch the footy. In all the hotel is fabulous, spotlessly clean. The breakfast is nice, omelettes are cooked fresh with a selection of toppings, beautiful! The lunch bar is better at the beach, full your boots! The area around doesn’t have much going on but get by the pool and relax, your on holiday!! We always had a lounger regardless of what time we arrived at the pool. Hope you enjoy your time on holiday, ignore the bad reviews, you’re in for a treat!!

Don’t book a sea view room

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. 4 at a push. Hotel itself is clean and staff very friendly. Except the older chap on reception, ( can’t tell you his name as he doesn’t where a name badge ) who is extremely rude and seems to hate his job. Don’t and I mean DONT book a sea view room !!!!! It’s more of a car park view and a busy road .. The room we had 7312 took us 7 mins to walk from the pool and up very steep incline.. I actually slipped coming down one night. The room is basic .. not cleaned every day .. mini fridge refills every two days. No coffee or milks left in room each day. We traveled with a group of friends that never upgraded their rooms and their rooms where actually better than ours. Food in the restaurant or canteen as my husband liked to call it was ok. Very chaotic and badly laid out .. broccoli next to bacon for an example You could always find something to eat even if it was just a salad. The que to the canteen gets very long very quickly , so bare this in mind. We did manage to eat in two of the other restaurants.. The Moonlight.. nice food. Very small portions The Burger Is what it is And we paid to go to Bar B Que on the beach. Which was very nice. Good selection.. €20 per head The hotel is very remote.. not a lot around it. Just a few tourists shops and a couple of bars. The pool bar is great. Great friendly staff but not enough of them , always having to Que for drinks. Lots of sun-beds but if you want a good spot you need to get down there early. Overall we enjoyed it because of the people we went with. Would I return or recommend it .. probably not It’s a shame as it has the makings of a good hotel but it’s missing lots of tricks.

DONT BOTHER BOOKING! Unless you want to throw out money to get. 3 start max hotel. Don’t book this hotel, it’s not 5 starts. First of you have to queue to go for dinner, I asked the waiter for a drink to be made for me to which he just pointed at the drink table and told me to get it myself, for a 5 star and the amount you pay you’d at least expect the waiters to work more. The staff is absolutely rude and don’t give to fcks about you! They basically tell you to bug off if you have any problems, the hotel does not provide bottled water. You only get about 3 bottles in the mini bar which is meant to last you 2 days. Which is not too bad. But when I asked if I could have more bottles because I have a baby that needs water and bottles to made for him they told me I had to pay money for water or drink tap water, absolutely shocking. They say it’s a family hotel but there’s no kid channels only news to watch on tv. There’s not much food you could feed a baby, every food is seasoned or with sauce no food like plain potatoes to feed my baby, if you have allergies you’ll be looking for food for ages because for every food you want to check what it’s made from you’ll have to wait for the waiters to find out. There’s no ingredients next to the foods in the diner. The food is nice but not many choices of it. The bars don’t know hot to make simple cocktails asked for a mojito and was told they don’t know how to make that and to go to the vip bar. Went to the vip bar was not allowed in because there was a wedding happening. My little sister got bit by a bug and her hand swelled up asked to see the hotel doctor or nurse, I was then told they don’t have one and I should find one outside the hotel. If you ever come here and have a serious accident you won’t get any help And finally the staff is very defensive instead of being helpful if you have a problem. Also there’s not much happening after dinner, there’s a show but then everyone goes sits in the lobby bar because there is nothing else happening, no music nothing. I’m not the type to let reviews decide my stay so thought would give a go this hotel. But I REGRET it so much! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DONT BOOK!
