Dit designhotel is gelegen aan de noordwestkust van Rhodos, te midden van pijnbomen en olijfbomen, op slechts 200 meter van de zee en ligt in een prachtige eigen tuin. De middeleeuwse stad Rhodos ligt op slechts 4 km afstand en het toeristische centrum van Ialyssos is 10 minuten lopen van het hotel. De luchthaven Rhodes-Diagoras is ongeveer 16 km van het clubresort.Dit Griekse eilandhotel heeft vele mediterrane details in de inrichting. De gasten hebben een scala aan moderne gemakken en uitstekende faciliteiten tot hun beschikking, zoals een volledig uitgeruste conferentiezaal, een stijlvolle bar en een ruime eetzaal. Het van airconditioning voorziene hotel beschikt in totaal over 281 kamers. Family hotel with wonderful staff. Superior customer service. The reception staff helped in everything possible. I highly recommend. The rooms need a little updating. The food was good in every restaurant and the service very good everywhere.

This is the best hotel we have stayed in. Everything clean, decor with old pieces of furniture excellent. Room lovely, fantastic big big bed with lovely soft pillow. Staff were lovely, helpful, just delightful experience.

Lovely hotel & staff…

On our arrival late at night, we were welcomed by a friendly lady at reception, who checked us in quickly, and we were heading to our room under the guide of a bellboy assisting. It soon became clear that we were not being out in the superior room we had booked. After returning to reception we were informed that the superior room would be available from the following morning. So we settled for the night in our quite spacious, and yes, slightly dated room. Once up the following morning, we had a nice view of what is a lovely pool, and a balcony which gained the sun through the afternoon. Facilities within the room were acceptable too, so once I had a kettle delivered to replace our coffee machine, we chose to settle in this room. We were only on the second floor, so had no issues regarding lifts etc. Air con didn’t appear to work initially, but was dealt with immediately and no further issues. The bed was comfortable enough, yes, thin cotton sheets, but to be honest we don’t ask for a blanket or duvet in a Greek island in may… The complex is excellent, staff working constantly to maintain its standards of cleanliness etc. I watched from my balcony as some people put their towels on sunloungers in the morning and left them, and then pool staff kindly folded their towels and put them on tables next to these loungers, thus not reserving them, but to be honest (at this time of year anyway) you can gain loungers at any time. The pool area is spotless, a swim up pool bar (beer €3.60), a coffee / ice cream bar, the souvlaki bar with Valentino serving me…..twice, with a great chicken or pork souvlaki in pita, with tzatziki and salad, plus chips put in it….all for €4!! Superb. The barmaids were fast and efficient at delivering a nice cold mythos in a cold glass, only €4…..nice!! Irini at reception helped and advised us regarding a day trip to Lindos, and always seemed to have a smile and be ready to assist with anything. After our long day out, we decided to relax on our balcony, and popped to the poolside restaurant in the evening, who were more than happy to make us a couple of pizzas to take away to our balcony and enjoy, and were also delicious, full normal sized pizzas at €12 each. The main bar has entertainment in the evenings, which does not go on until all hours, and the traditional Greek dancing was a great show…..enjoy your mythos and join them!! All in all, myself and my wife cannot complain. Yes, some rooms may be dated in some respects, but what we learned was that any issues would be resolved ASAP. Outside the hotel…….a small shop at the front, I believe part of the hotel, is open til 11pm…..and I wish I could remember her name, but seems to be run by the same woman 27 hours a day….she’ll be due her holidays soon I’m sure!! A short 2 minute walk to the seafront, where there are the local eateries to suit most, and taxis passing all the time which will take you to Rhodes town for €9!! Advisable!! Rhodes old town is superb and a must see…..don’t take a map in the old town because you will get lost in there, but every turn has something to see…..and if you come across ‘island lipsi’ traditional Greek restaurant, grab a table and eat!! Kleftiko superb……so put a smile on your face and enjoy the culture, and remember you’re in a foreign country….not a 5 star UK resort….
