Hotel Tivoli is a 3 star hotel situated on the main road to Faliraki, just 2 km from city centre, which is considered the “heart” of the resort. The hotel’s position allows everyone to visit all the island’s main areas, such as Rhodes city, Faliraki and even the traditional village of Afandou and Lindos resort. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel which links it with all the places mentioned above and many more. On the hotel you will find a swimming pool, mini market, restaurant and a snack bar by its side. The Snack-bar of Tivoli Hotel offers a large screen TV and is ideal for enjoying a drink or coffee.
It is located approximately 16 km to the RHO airport.

What can I say about this place that does it justice! The owner Chris is such a brilliant guy amazing company great host and absolutely love his honest approach to customer service! Yes the hotel isn’t the nicest place you could ever stay and is there stuff that it could do better yes but if you u just take your time to speak to Chris the owner he is always open about he is slowing renovating the place!! The staff is why you should visit this hotel they have an amazing ability to make it feel like home! The receptionist is the funniest guy you’ll ever meet with such brilliant service and a wicked sense of humour! Everyone’s English was spot on! Also would like to say a big thank you to the cleaners as they was so patient with my constant lie ins and always made sure they would speak to us and clean! Chris is brilliant host because not only is he welcoming he also has some amazing people working with him such as SV taxis that he recommended to use this man was a life saver on this trip and so polite and courteous while taking us places which was amazing because sometimes getting taxis abroad can be daunting!!! I have seen people complaining about the walk it really isn’t that dangerous at all if you do it right! Not far from some really cool bars but overall had an amazing stay and special mention to the young barman just started really tried hard with customer service and in his new role as barman! Thank you Chris for making the trip amazing definitely see you again!

Feeling short-changed

My partner and I stayed at the Tivoli hotel for a week in the beginning of May. Looking retrospectively, from the time of our arrival it was clear that the hotel wasn’t quite ready for guests, we were met by Chris who showed us to our room, which was clean, modern and comfortable (although the bathroom looked dated and worn, the shower was full of limescale, the drain on the floor was dirty and the toilet seat was very worn and discoloured). Throughout the first couple days of our stay it became more apparent that the hotel wasn’t prepared for the season, with little-to-no staff and no food or drinks available for purchase, as the walk into the nearest shop was along a busy dual carriageway (with no pavement), which frankly seemed like an unsafe walk for almost a mile having no drinks or food was a real problem. When visiting, I would suggest renting a car or being prepared to call taxis to and from Faliraki, the walk ins’t extremely long just very unpleasant and dangerous, although this was mentioned in some reviews before we stayed I didn’t understand the severity of what was being said until we arrived. The reception had confusing opening hours (I assume due to lack of staff) which again caused problems for us both soften times we needed help or advice and were not able to get it. About 3 nights into our stay Chris mentioned that our room had not been cleaned due to the cleaner losing the key and asked us to leave the key at reception to get another cut, as the reception hours were all over the place we weren’t particularly keen on leaving them in fear we would arrive back at the hotel and not be able to get into our room as it was the only copy, our room did eventually end up getting cleaned, 6 nights in which looking back is unfortunate as we expected higher standards and if the hotel management were aware of the key being lost, logic would assume you’d move us into a different room (clearly there were many other rooms available). Also on the 6th day of the holiday, Chris informed us that someone would be coming to install glass into the shower, which was a minor inconvenience but also told us that we would not be able to touch it for the next 24 hours to allow the silicone to settle, as we are leaving the next day (and couldn’t go without showering) we thought it was a bit of an absurd request, when we arrived back into the room whoever installed the glass left a horrific mess on the floor with pieces of wood [?], silicone [?] that my partner then picked up to save our feet. All in all, our stay at the Tivoli was wasn’t terrible, but did not meet our expectations, I feel like this hotel has more potential and no doubt is a better stay further into the season, feeling a little short-changed as we booked with the expectation of a fully prepared hotel and did not get that. Chris was friendly and offered us lifts to Faliraki which saved us the walk on numerous occasions, there was a ’shuttle’ service offered (the sign for which appeared about 5 days into our stay), we are unsure if Chris is this shuttle service or if further into the season something else becomes available. All in all, tidy hotel, would not book until peak season and only book if you don’t mind risking your life on the walk to the beach lol

Stayed in the tivoli hotel last week and honestly myself and my friend loved it! The staff were all so pleasant and helpful and they just made our holiday enjoyable, nothing but laughs! Only 25min walk into falaraki 5/8min taxi
