Dit smaakvol ingerichte hotel bevindt zich in het recreatiegebied Istron, op een helling boven de kustweg met schitterend uitzicht op de Mirabello-baai. De zwembaai met grofzand en kiezelstenen bereikt u na ongeveer 200 m (via trappen). In Agioa Nikolaos bevinden zich vele winkels en amusementsmogelijkheden (ca. 12 km afstand). De dichtstbijzijnde halte van het openbaar vervoer bevindt zich in de onmiddellijke omgeving van het hotel en is na ongeveer 250 m te bereiken. De dichtstbijzijnde luchthaven is in Heraklion, op ongeveer 75 km van het hotel.Dit vriendelijke, van airconditioning voorziene hotel heeft in totaal 100 kamers. Het beschikt over een ontvangsthal met receptie, een lift, een tv-lounge, een minimarkt, een gezellige hotelbar en een van airconditioning voorzien restaurant met elegante Griekse keuken. Voor de kleine gasten is er in het buitengedeelte een speelplaats.De smaakvol ingerichte kamers van het hotel hebben alle een eigen badkamer met haardroger en douche/wc. BEAUTIFUL PLACE AS LONG AS YOU DONT EAT MUCH

This was my first all inclusive holiday,I WAS SO EXCITED for it but definetly didnt live up to what i was expecting ,we arrived late at 3am the night man was very nice the room was clean & fresh ,they even upgraded us to a seaview room with a bottle of champagne the view was the best in the hotel ,top floor right next to the pool bar with the nicest freindliest barman who makes a lovely cheese&ham toastie & toasted hotdog. THE ISSUES IN THIS HOTEL IS THE FOOD & DRINKS BREAKFAST We went for breakfast arond 8.15am and i was looking forward to trying some nice fresh food , i love to cook and i love to eat but honestly here i think i ate 2 pancakes with some tinned fruit as every thing else was either looking undercooked or over ,my hubby isnt so fussy he tried the bacon(cooked ham) sausages(savaloy style not proper pork) eggs (cold one day warm on other days ,the bread selection looked great but i wasnt confident it was fresh every day ,the other diffrent hot selections i cant really comment but not a lot of it got eaten so u can decide yourself. LUNCH We went for lunch twice in hotel to see if there was anything diffrent most of it looked like the breakfast with some chips and chicken and other weird looking stuff i tried what i thought was cheesy pasta turns out it was just so over cooked it congealed toghether,we ate out after that. DINNER Well all as the above but one night it was gyros night considering we were in crete which serves them everywhere , my husband ate it because he was hungry i tried and the meat was dry the bread was oily and cut into little pieces(we are adults we dont need our food cut up),another night was fish night they had one dish of fish which smelt really strong(fresh fish doesnt smell),now this will make u laugh because i had to, on our last night the 5STAR chef was cooking in a beautiful pizza oven and served us a pizza that was black on size and just about done on the other ,he obviosly doesnt care what hes serving . DRINKS are ok but why serve cheap crap cola & orange ,they give u a good shot of spirits but there not the best , sadly the place is stunning but we wouldnt go back . I met afew lovely guests there and they all had the same opinion one lady spent the week eating peas&carrots ,another guest was put in a room which had broken glass and blood they asked the man behind the dest 3 times but he just looked liked he wasnt bothered and when they say 12 oclock checkout they mean it one friend had to sit for 7 hours ( they didnt because we all looked out for eachother when leaving late) with nothing ALL INCLUSIVE it definetly isnt .

All inclusive ?? Wifi is not included… 3€/device per day ! Quiet ?? Noise until 2am… Parking ?? If you are lucky and early, if not you should park your car on the road… Food ?? Well, the minimum you can wish Welcome desk ?? Cold and robotic To choose if you like challenge !!!

Beautiful hotel in a quiet part of Crete

Me and my husband visited this hotel in May 2023 Firstly this hotel is visually stunning - very “instgrammable”, clean and well maintained. The views are incredible - I loved opening the curtains in the morning!! We upgraded to the Golden Wing - which we found totally worth it, it’s a small block so had less foot traffic etc as the main hotel. The room was clean, our sheets and towels were changed regularly. The only issue we had was some loud upstairs neighbours, when we noted reception they were quick to sort it. The facilities are good - little shop with essentials, three bars, luggage storage, showers to use on your last day, two pools with ample seating. We didn’t struggle to get a sun bed but the hotel was not at capacity so maybe different peak season. People “reserved” beds from about 8am but didn’t use them until about 1pm which can be frustrating. The food was okay, there was variety as well as the staples everyday (pizza, pasta etc). My husband and I are both vegetarians and we didn’t struggle for something to eat. I would say nothing is labelled so sometimes had to ask if things had meat in. We arrived late and they had made sandwiches for us and gave us a meal ticket for our last day after we checked out. The staff were attentive and kind. The buses changed mid-way through our stay (check the date on the timetable when you get to the bus stop directly opposite the hotel) and the staff phoned a taxi for us! Istron itself is lovely, it is definitely the quieter part of the island - there are a few supermarkets to get any snacks/ essentials you may need. There are a several restaurants/ bars for a change of scenery. We found MamaLoukia & Lotzeta to be AMAZING!! Agios Nikoloas is definitely worth a visit - we went in twice during our stay. There are lots of touristy shops to mooch around, cafes, boat tours etc! Also beautiful to just walk around. The buses are regular and only €1.60 each way per person The beach was lovely directly opposite the hotel there is steps down which are quite steep but perfectly fine if able-bodied if not walk down the hill into Istron and enter the beach via one of the slopes, we paid €10 for two sun beds and a parasol which we didn’t mind! Overall - we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you Mistral Mare :)
