Dit charmante resort in Marathias is ideaal voor gezinnen. Het etablissement ligt op wandelafstand van de belangrijkste uitgaansgebieden. De klanten kunnen gebruikmaken van de dichtstbijzijnde golfbaan op enkele passen van het resort. De accommodatie ligt vlakbij de pistes. Er zijn openbare vervoersverbindingen op wandelafstand. Het dichtstbijzijnde strand bevindt zich op 500 meter van de accommodatie. De klanten verblijven op 35. 0 kilometer van de luchthaven. Het resort ligt op 7 meter van de haven. Dit is een leuke verblijfplaats met in totaal 10 kamers. Deze accommodatie werd volledig gerenoveerd in 2009 in de lijn met het kwaliteitsengagement. We have just returned from a 8 night stay for friends wedding vow renewal held here. Mia and family went above and beyond to make sure the day went smoothly together with the guests. Pension Nychterida is a little haven located 15 minute walk from a gorgeous sandy beach with clear blue sea. 2 sunbeds and umbrella was 7 euros, although if you walked up to Santa Barbara restaurant they were free with purchase of food or drink. There is a mini shop 10 minutes walk near the beach. Accommodation is basic and serves its purpose. Room was clean and comfortable and has a safe mini fridge, and air conditioning. Breakfast is continental, full English is available at a charge. Day time snacks and lunches can also be purchased from the bar. Evening meals consists of starter, greek salad and main, desserts are extra but are not needed after the generous portions received. This is family run and they all go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Thank you Mia, Elena, Dimitri and Mrs Dimitri.

Just perfect

Me, my husband & our 14 year old twin have just returned from here. We booked via Thomas Cook & rented a car from Corfu airport We arrived at around 11.30pm, tired & starving! Mia met us, showed us to our rooms and then made us a home made pizza for us in the bar, which was really appreciated (along with a very large G&T!) The rooms were basic but immaculately clean and very comfortable. We had a slightly larger room than the boys, but both were nice with good air conditioning and a fridge in it for drinks and snacks, if you wanted to buy from the shop (Lidl just 10 mins drive down the road) The pool area was lovely. Again immaculately clean with plenty of sun loungers, a slide and play area for the kids, with the bar area next to the pool. A short 15 minute walk away is a lovely sandy beach with restaurants en route. We went half board. Breakfast was continental and served till 11.30am. So much food! Bread, cold meat, eggs, cheese and coffee / juice. The evening meal was served from 6.30pm - 10pm and the choice was endless! Salad to start then a huge choice of starters and mains. Puddings were extra as were drinks. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. (The Baklava was to die for!) Everyone loved it and no one was ever left hungry. It was all home made and delicious! What makes this place so special is it’s a truly family run business. Mia and Elenor are customer facing, spoilt all the kids rotten and made you feel part of their family. Their mum and dad do all the cooking (how I don’t know as I thought they had kitchen staff but no!) Their attention to detail makes this place a little gem A few pointers - if you book, book direct with the hotel as it’s far cheaper. Definitely arrange a taxi through Mia for airport transfers and rent a car through them too as again much cheaper and far less stressful Buy a beach umbrella as all the beaches charge 15-20€ for 2 sunbeds and a brolly - jog on!! Our favourite beach was Bouka. Used more by locals and has lovely beach bar there. Just a lovely holiday and we’ll definitely return here

Lovely experience

We visited the first week in August, this is a family property in every sense of the word . This is a small family run accommodation with great food and service. Mia and her family cannot do enough for you ! Sadly due to the pandemic the surrounding bars and tavernas were closed but we were more than happy with the food and drink on site, delicious and reasonably priced. I think the heat made it feel like the beach was actually further than it was! It's a quiet beach and no waters ports are available. This is not a holiday for sightseeing or nightlife but it suited our needs perfectly. We did a couple of excursions organised by Mia . This is a hidden gem .
