Nothing is as advertised room bad beds awful no satellite TV no entertainment food is disgusting showers a joke pool freezing limited bar and food times would strongly advise giving it a miss I wouldn't stay for free

Worst hotel ever pictures look great but where taken years ago. Very run falling down hotel that requires knocking down and total rebuild . So really do not waste your time and money unless you want to slum it .

Anniversary getaway

Ok so I'm a bit late writing this as we visited in the beginning of October for our anniversary but here goes. I'll start with the bad points to get them out of the way with. Don't be deceived by the photos, our view from our room was so bad I actually apologized to my wife. The bathroom is small, and the shower is tiny. I'm not saying I'm a small guy but I'm not that big either, showering was hard work. The bed was so hard that I struggled to get out in the mornings due to me back being in so much pain Our first day we went to the pool and sat under the canopies they had which looked lovely, but the smell of sewage was so bad we never sat there again (to be fair the smell wasn't exclusive to the hotel, smelt it a lot on our travels) The beach although is technically around 250m away it is owned by another hotel who do let you walk across to access other parts of the beach. We did try walking across the path but got told by security it was owned by the hotel and go back onto the beach. Location isn't too good, not much there but we did visit in October so maybe different during other months. Ok so the good points. Staff were brilliant, honestly, they made you feel so welcome and always made time to talk to you especially Stella and the fantastic young lady behind the bar who always had our Cuba libre poured as we were walking down the steps. Our first day the food wasn't too good and thought we would spend our holidays eating out, but it did actually improve as the weekend went on especially the desserts that were amazing. Even went back for seconds, I was on holiday so don't judge me. The cleaners were cleaning the room almost every day and even left me an extra pillow and left the blankets under the sheet I put there to soften the bed (sorry forgot to put the back when I left) Although there was only entertainment for a couple of the nights, we were there it was great. Good band one night and a great young singer on another. Met some great couples when we were there which made the holiday even better. Would I come again? Yes, probably but looking at the holiday prices for next year they maybe not
