Dit hotel van de hogere middenklasse ligt in een prachtig, 95 hectare groot tuincomplex, dat zich uitstrekt tot aan het zandstrand. De hoofdstad van het eiland, met tal van winkel- en amusementsmogelijkheden ligt op ongeveer 3 km en Agios Ioannis op ongeveer 25 km afstand. De regelmatig rijdende lijnbus stopt op ongeveer 300 m afstand en rijdt naar het stadscentrum. De luchthaven bevindt zich op ongeveer 5 km en is binnen 15 minuten te bereiken.Het in 2002 gerenoveerde vakantiecomplex beschikt over in totaal 240 kamers. De gasten worden in een ontvangsthal met 24-uurs receptie verwelkomd. Tot de voorzieningen van het hotel behoren verder een wisselkantoor, liften, kiosk, minimarkt en een juwelierswinkel. In de bar, het grote tuincomplex of de televisiekamer is het aangenaam vertoeven. Verder staan er meerdere lounges tot uw beschikking, waar u kunt lezen, kaarten etc. Het hotel biedt u verder een van airconditioning voorzien à la carte restaurant met apart niet-rokergedeelte en kinderstoelen. In het hotel kunt u gebruik maken van de fietsen- en autoverhuur. Medische dienst is er op aanvraag. After reading some of the (in my opinion completely crazy) negativity on here I was naturally worried about what we'd booked and what to expect. We have just flown back to Newcastle after spending a week at this gem of a hotel for a family holiday, family which spans 3 generations and all have lots of different experiences of all inclusive resorts. This hotel is wonderful and those with negative reviews need to get a grip. Friendly and attentive staff, beautiful rooms with powerful showers and comfy beds and an incredible range of food and drinks. The buffet restaurant is superb with a diverse spread of different menus and something for all ages. The Greek and Fusion a la carte meals were both tremendous and if you book when you arrive you will have no problem securing a table at these. The spa is open and the spa menu of treatments looks lovely and the sauna and steam room are free to use at your leisure. Kids solash pool, kids playground and indoor soft play area are superb and the staff are brilliant with the littlies, both in the day and at the family disco on an evening too. As well as enjoying the main bar on an evening we also listened to some wonderful entertainment at the pool bar so make sure to wander that way after dinner. The private beach was my favourite and always very quiet and from here you can walk into the sea on a beautiful sandy beach and there's also pedalos and speedboats and more available to hire for a reasonable fee. There was rain on a few of the days but it passed quickly and the sun was back out before you knew it, or even if cloudy it was warm enough to relax on the various sizes and shapes of loungers dotted everywhere. If you've booked, please be excited and ignore the negativity. If you're looking to book, do it! If you have any questions please ask

A GEM of a hotel!

A very easy review to make! Easily lives up to it's billing as a 5* hotel. The staff are exceptional,and genuinely care about you and your holiday. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the food is exquisite! Don't look anywhere else for a beautiful and perfectly located hotel.

Underwhelming

On arrival to the hotel on 8th May 2023, the main reception area was very underwhelming considering it claims to be a 5 star hotel. We tried to book the a la carte restaurants at check in and the receptionist told us to come back the following day to book so we did so early in the morning and she told us both restaurants were fully booked and we had to be put on a waiting list. We did not get in to either of the restaurants, even though the receptionist promised they would be in touch. We walked past the Japanese a la carte restaurant a few times and there were empty seats. My partner and I were very disappointed as that was part of the all inclusive package. We were supposed to arrive to 'Chefs welcome treats' but had 3 apples and two plates. We wanted to book the spa as the receptionist recommended but it was closed? On our third night we were awoken by an alarm which went on for over an hour. We had an apology letter from the hotel which stated it was a couple of minutes!! A guest had told us that another guest attacked the reception staff and grabbed them by the throat so I'm glad we stayed in our room. The police should have been informed. There should be another bar indoors as long queues and no seats so ended up having to drink in our room. The kids club was held in the bar area which was very chaotic and loud. The hotel definitely needs renovating (especially toilets opposite restaurant) to a higher standard as they have only focused on particular areas. The positives are as follows - - The hotel room was decorated to a lovely standard - The main restaurant was also decorated beautifully - Cleaners and lady who refills mini bar are very friendly - Bar staff very friendly - Good transport links to Corfu Old Town
