I spent a week here with my fiance and I had such a wonderful time. We booked a sea view and I am so glad we did, the view was beautiful! All of the staff were lovely and extremely helpful. In terms of food, the main buffet was great for us. We always found something to eat and it was delicious. I recommend booking the 2 a la carte restaurants as soon as you arrive to avoid disappointment. The hotel offers a shuffle bus service that is inexpensive. We took a trip to Kassiopi and it was great. We booked our holiday via Jet2, and they offered excursions. We booked an excursion to Albania via the rep and I would highly recommend doing this if you can. We also took an evening boat trip to Corfu Town, this was probably the highlight of my holiday as it was so beautiful and bustling at nighttime.

Were moved here from another hotel nearby so almost anywhere was an improvement! We didn’t choose this hotel and it would not be somewhere that we would opt for but our experience was okay. We had a room right down at the front with a sea view. As there were no rooms in front of us the balcony was fairly private. Was worried that it would be noisy as we were next to the pool bar but the patio doors were definitely double glazed as we were not disturbed. The room is small and nothing to write home about but the bathroom was nicely done and had a very good power shower. Cleaned daily with fresh towels and bottled water left for us. Bed was comfortable. The grounds are clean and nicely maintained. The main restaurant is large and clean and the staff clear tables quickly. The food selection is good but not everything as hot as I would like but it was fine for a buffet. You need to get your own drinks and they have beer, wine and soft drinks on tap. In the bars the selection is limited unless you want to pay but as I stuck to beer or red wine this wasn’t a problem for me. The hotel is in a very quiet location but there are some lovely walks nearby. The hotel has a fairly cheap bus service to some local villages nearby if you want to get out and about.

We booked Mareblue Beach Hotel through TUI. The hotel and food area was very clean and the staff were helpful. We opted for a Seaview room which did indeed have a sea view. The room itself was basic and nothing like the pictures advertised. The bathroom was in need of modernising, was clean but could have been cleaner. The reception staff and maintenance staff were really efficient and helped us with a few issues. It is all inclusive food up to 10pm and certain drinks only up to 11.30pm you can only get drinks from the bars when open or the dining area when open, we had to buy water a few times from the supermarket as were only provided with 2 bottles in our fridge when we arrived and tap water is not drinkable. I wouldn't advise using the drinks machine by the pool as the pipe system seemed to be full of ants and had a few cups with them floating in! If you are the sort of person that likes to totally take advantage of all inclusive alcohol maybe not the place for you. This did mean though that there were no louts or noise after 11.30pm which is what I think the hotel is aiming for. The food was varied for a weeks visit, other than that there's a few tavernas around. The inclusive Greek meal was ok, 5 courses in 45 minutes very rushed. The inclusive Pizza meal was also good, again book straight away on arrival. There is lots to do in the area. Reception have some great trips advertised on their desk we did horse riding and the day trip to Palaiokastritsa which was really worth every euro! Book as soon as you can as the trips get booked up quickly. We also hired bikes from reception for 10 euros each and cycled to the nearest town. You can also hire quads and cars at reception. Old Corfu town is worth a visit. If you walk to the left at the bottom of the resort you come to a beach and then further on a few more beaches and there is a monastery amid a load of trees and shrubs if you want to explore! I don't this is a particularly wheelchair friendly area. Be aware that this is not a 60 minute transfer time from airport as TUI states, it took us 5 hours on arrival due to an RTA and 8 drop offs and 2 hours on return. We also both came home Covid positive if this was from the plane coach trip or hotel room who knows?. Also the weather in May seems to be rain showers and thunder, on speaking to a few locals they said it is normally like this in May...however if you speak to anyone in the tourist industry over there they will say it never rains like this in May!!!
