Het cityhotel ligt in de schaduw van de Acropolis, in één van de meest exclusieve winkel- en zakenwijk van Athene. Het is slechts enkele minuten lopen naar de ruïne van het Parthenon. Een halte van het openbaar vervoer kunt u gemakkelijk te voet bereiken.Het in 1977 gebouwde middenklassehotel heeft, verdeeld over 7 verdiepingen, in totaal 250 kamers, waarvan 33 éénpersoons-, 209 tweepersoonskamers en 8 suites. Het gebouw heeft een hoge standaard en zal zelfs veeleisende gasten tevreden stellen. Een bijzonderheid van het hotel zijn de ruïnes, die in het fundament werden gevonden en in de architectuur zijn verwerkt. Het hotel heeft een ontvangsthal met 24uurs-receptie, een souvenirshop en 4 liften. Het hotel heeft voor haar gasten een bar, een café en een restaurant met een eigen niet-rokergedeelte. Bovendien heeft het hotel 5 conferentieruimtes en een openbare internetterminal.De luxueus ingerichte kamers beschikken over een badkamer/wc met haardroger, telefoon, satelliet-/kabeltelevisie, minibar, airconditioning, een kluis en een balkon.In het binnenhof hebben de gasten de beschikking over een swimming pool.De gasten kunnen het ontbijt zelf aan een buffet samenstellen.

Great hotel near the Athens Acropolis

I was here for a series of business meetings, which were held in the conference room on the ground floor. The room was compact but enough for a business trip. I could see the Athens Acropolis from my balcony! The room was well equipped with a good desk and plenty of power points (European). The bed was large and comfortable. There was a range of pillows available and I slept well. I used room service twice and had breakfast in the hotel. The food was good and service rapid. Otherwise I ate out at a number of good restaurants, all within a short walk from the hotel. The minibar was well stocked, although no diet drinks. There is a coffee machine in the room, which I did not use but my colleagues said made very nice coffee. The bathroom was a good size and there was a hand held and a deluge shower head. I used the overhead deluge and the water was a good temperature. The hotel supplied plenty of soap, shampoo and conditioner as well as moisturiser. There were plenty of towels. Check in was fast and, as I arrived early, I was reassigned to an available room. The portering and reception staff were very helpful and provided some good advice on where to go first. The Acropolis, Plaka and Flea Market are a short walk away, as are a myriad of tourist stalls. The Hop on Hop off bus is also nearby. All in all a nice hotel that is well located.

Disappointing

We had a disappointing stay here. The hotel is in a good location, but they do not have a good service mindset. Only 200 characters for a review do not allow to comment much but the fact reception did not even ask how our stay was says it all. Avoid.

A very nice hotel in an excellent location

The room I stayed in was a good size, comfortable beds, good shower, the water flow in the shower was definitely reasonable The room had a coffee machine and coffee capsules. There was also a small balcony overlooking the Acropolis - very beautiful There is also a mini bar for a fee. The room is nice, comfortable and very clean. The rooms are cleaned every day, the soaps and shampoo in the shower are of a very high standard, excellent natural made in Greece - bravo!!! I came with a group on a half board basis, the breakfast was excellent, everything was fresh and tasty and the variety was good. The dinner is disappointing, you should eat somewhere else... It should be noted the hotel staff who were nice and tried to help with every issue in an exceptional way - nice and good people. I would also like to mention the level of cleanliness in the hotel - the hotel is very clean - well done!
