Dit aantrekkelijke hotel ligt aan het Omoniaplein, in het hart van het business- en shopping-centrum van de stad. De indrukwekkende golfbanen Quinta da Ria en Quinta da Cima zijn gemakkelijk te voet te bereiken. Het dichtstbijzijnde strand ligt op ongeveer 8 km afstand. Direct voor het hotel bevindt zich het metrostation Omonia.Het hotel werd in het jaar 1963 gebouwd en in 1998 gerenoveerd. Het beschikt op 8 etages over in totaal 167 kamers, waarvan 21 eenpersoons-, 139 tweepersoonskamers en 7 suites. Het hotel biedt zijn gasten een ruim opgezette ontvangsthal met een lift, een 24 uur per dag geopende receptie, hotelkluis, geldwisselkantoor en een conferentieruimte met openbare internettoegang. Daarnaast beschikt het hotel over een gezellig café en een van airconditioning voorzien à la carte restaurant met niet-rokergedeelte. Pros and cons; depends on what you're looking for

I stayed for four nights with my mom, and this was my second time staying in a Brown hotel (the first time was in Tel Aviv). My experience was the same in both places, so I feel I can comment a bit on the overall brand; here are the pros and cons of the Brown Acropol: Pros - great location (easy walking distance to the main attractions and right next to a metro station that takes you to the Acropolis), great rooftop area and views, consistently friendly and helpful staff, and a good shower with ample bath products. Cons - very limited "closet" space (only a few hangers to hang clothes in an exposed area next to the bed), very little surface area on which to unpack (no drawers and limited desk and sink space), and a very dark bathroom (would not be the place to stay if you wear a lot of makeup).

Very Small room, AC doesn't work good, cockroach in bed and bathroom and last but not least very, very loud music all over the hotel with very loud bass. When having breakfast you can't hear your partner. When complaining about the cockroach in bed the staff did not even say sorry. The worst hotel we have ever been in.

The hotel was excellent in hospitality , I would like to specially add a word about the wonderful team front office and specially a word of appreciation to Ms Liana Tasiouli who went out the way to accommodate all our requests , including a upgradation at the last minute. they handled qa fabulous check in combined wit patience for the enquiry I had inspite o the hectic schedule , they did wonderfully acknowledged me and my requests . A huge thanks and applause to the team Brown Acropol and would love to promote this hotel for the global tourists in terms of location hospitality and ever ready staff to assist in the process
