nice place to stay when visiting Gambia

Yes we are Spoiled with all the 5 star resorts we visited. But this is Gambia and with such a low price for the whole trip one must not expect to much. The rooms are simple but clean. there is a nice pool and a good terrace for eating and chilling. The staff is very friendly and will do there best to make you're staying a pleasant one. The breakfast is a little to simple, but if you ask they make you a nice omelet. same with the dinner not to much choise and no desert? just ask and chef will make something nice for you. the last day he made warm Apple Flaps with apple and cinemon and they were amazing. Compliments to the cheff!! o and very good WIFI

mansea beach hotel love it ,we have stayed at mansea now14 times ,and we have seen up and down ,but still keep going back .staff here are fantastic ,if you have a problem they will try and sort it ,food a litte basic at bfast but ask chef to make a meal and it will be delicous and plenty of it ,ask him for garlic bread to start ,best ive tasted in the gambia .rooms are cleaned every day and bedding every other day towels every day .very quiet round the pool area only the birds making a lovely noise .i know all the staff from gardener to the top man if your thinking about stopping there try it you wont be disappointed.im already looking forward to 2021 and only just got back .

This hotel has improved. Perfect Wifi, nice and helpfull staff, clean rooms. There are several buildings on the premisis. Building F is the oldest and should be avoided, the other buildings are renovated. I was in januari, the swimming pool is clean, but bar service and restaurant is limited. I prefered to go to the beach. Breakfast is OK for gambian standards, but don't leave your table alone or the brirds will have your breakfast. Be careful with the taxi's outside. The try to rip you. better walk to the main street and catch a local one. Never leave without agreement in price.
