Excellent Paris Location May 2023

We stayed for 6 nights at the beginning of May 2023. This hotel is quintessential historic Paris. It is very well maintained and has a really beautiful lobby and atrium. Our room was beautiful with two really big “French Balconies” we could step out onto overlooking the street. It was really fun. Our room was very clean (very important) and well maintained as was the rest of the hotel. The bathroom was very large (most in Europe are very small) and had a wonderful shower. Overall the service, especially Housekeeping was excellent. Raphael (Concierge) was excellent and great with information (Thank you). The one downfall was the Breakfast Room. While the food was good and had a lot of food choices, the room was very, very crowded, very hot and the service most days was really poor. Some mornings, no staff would approach the table at all. It was really disorganized and unfortunate as the rest of the hotel and our stay was fantastic. The hotel’s location is excellent, it is right by Gare St. Lazare (Train Station) and two Metro stops. The area is busy and walking distance to the Opera, and many places of interest. This was an excellent stay and we would for sure stay here again.

Very nice hotel in a great location in Paris. The place has a lot of character and the service was excellent. The breakfast was great nice variety and the executive lounge was very well equipped. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, historic hotel close to the metro, train and shopping. From our arrival, until our departure, the service was top notch. We were promptly greeted, our bags whisked away and our check in was smooth and easy. The lobby lounge is the first thing you’ll notice and it is grand and comfortable. Our room faced the front of the hotel and while busy during the day, by 8PM the noise and traffic were largely gone. The room was a standard size for Paris and well appointed with robes, coffee and tea and a much appreciated refrigerator. The marble bath was large, hot water plentiful and the provided toiletries very nice. Daily housekeeping kept the room refreshed. The executive lounge offers beverages and light snacks throughout the day as well as a good breakfast buffet with cooked to order eggs available. Happy hour offers a very nice buffet with hot and cold items and delicious desserts. Plus beverages to meet everyone’s taste. Bottled water was available to guests as we exited the elevators each afternoon. An unexpected and nice touch. We can recommend without hesitation and if we return to Paris, will definitely choose this hotel again.
