Very clean , very friendly , and helpful staff . I will strongly recommend this hotel to my friends . I look forward to staying there again soon. For the price I paid I have not stayed anywhere better in Paris .

A small hotel in an excellent position for catching the train from La Gare de Lyon

A really friendly welcome at this small hotel a few steps away from La Gare de Lyon. The hotel was very clean and has recently been renovated. We chose a room overlooking the courtyard at the back, which was quiet. However, the room was tiny. OK for one night, but not to spend time in the room relaxing. Breakfast was good, and a lovely variety of eggs, cheese, bread and Viennoiserie.

Everything that we had wanted in a Paris hotel early morning

This hotel was one of the only ones that got back to us with an affirmative that they would do everything possible to get us in early. I contacted five. As it was Saturday morning, we understand they need to clean the rooms from a busy night before. With a 630 arrival that put us in Paris at approximately 1045, the male host was just lovely about it and said to come back 1pm. My husband‘s back was killing him so after we wandered the market area that the concierge had directed us to, and gotten some breakfast we returned at around 1240. It was clear they were very busy, but about 115 we were allowed into our room. The room itself had everything we were looking for. It was quiet, neat, light, and high enough up not to have the street noises. Breakfast was not worth the €10 that they had told us would be the drop in charge, but as it was part of our room we found the breakfast room to be delightful and the offerings to be quite enough to get us started on our journey down to Avignan’s from the nearby Gare de Lyons station. We would definitely stay here again at the price that was being offered in comparison to those around, but mostly because of their consideration that we are two old people and sometimes old people need a tad earlier check-in!
