Dit luxehotel is het ideale uitgangspunt om de stad te verkennen. Het ligt direct aan de Gendarmenmarkt, slechts enkele meters naar de bekende bezienswaardigheden zoals Under den Linden, de Brandenburger Tor, Friedrichstrasse of de Lafayette met zijn winkels en gezellige boetieks. Het metrostation Stadtmitte bevindt zich direct voor het hotel.Het in 1989 gebouwde, stijlvolle hotel biedt 436 kamers, waarvan 96 eenpersoons-, 171 tweepersoonskamers en 17 suites, verdeeld over 8 etages. Het hotel is voorzien van een ontvangsthal, liften, kapper, meerdere restaurants (met niet-rokergedeelten), bars en een garage (tegen betaling).Alle kamers zijn elegant en ruim ingericht. We had a king suite with a dome view which was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. We loved using the executive lounge for breakfast buffet and afternoon snacks and cocktails. This is a modern hotel and feels new. Easy access to all things we visited in Berlin by walking or taking a car.

An exceptional hotel.

A fantastic hotel. From the time we booked in at reception to the time we left after the concierge team had called a taxi for us, carried our luggage out and deposited the luggage into the taxi. Everything in between was excellent, the breakfast food was very high quality and offered something for everyone. We had access to the Executive Lounge and the service and choice of food and drink was excellent. The location of the hotel's is very good. The room was very comfortable and the cleaning staff kept everything as it should be in a hotel of this standard.

Such a disappointment! Not the Hilton experience we were looking for:(

What went wrong? So many things to write about - when we we’re certain that the Hilton is a super hotel to stay in.. Check in - the guy in the desk was probably new or he just didn’t know a thing… check in took forever . All the stuff members were lacking service attitude, even a bit rude, except for Toni the concierge who was lovely. BTW - is it really logical to end the concierge shift at 6pm? And when he’s gone, no one else can help you with anything, including if you need a doctor! How can it be?! As to the facilities; when going to the room, there’s a dank scent in the hallway. The room is large enough, however furniture and design are old.. no bath, just shower. Ice machine on the floor - didn’t work. Water stream in the toilets was weak and one should press 3 times at least to wash it.. What was well? Location is good, bed is comfortable and Toni the concierge, whom should teach his colleagues some manners and service attitude to their guests.
