Dit mooie aparthotel verwelkomt u in Protaras. De accommodatie bevindt zich op 1000 meter van het stadscentrum waardoor alle bezienswaardigheden gemakkelijk te bereiken zijn. Het aparthotel ligt op wandelafstand van de belangrijkste uitgaansgebieden. De klanten beschikken binnen een straal van 30 meter over uitstekende vervoersverbindingen die hen in staat stellen de omgeving te verkennen. Het dichtstbijzijnde strand bevindt zich op 1000 meter van het aparthotel. Het etablissement bestaat uit 44 eenheden. Deze accommodatie werd opgericht in 1996. Wie in dit etablissement verblijft, kan gebruik maken van de wifi-verbinding in de openbare ruimtes. De receptie is 24 uur per dag en 7 dagen per week geopend. The Mandalena is a fairly basic building, rooms too are basic, but kept very clean. They are quite big, separate big bedroom, and very big lounge/kitchen. Balconies not that big though. Our bathroom was very basic, with a bath and shower over the bath. Must admit, I was surprised to see that, I expected just a shower cubicle and no bath. Be warned that the bath is very slippy, the first time I used it I nearly slipped, and there are no handrails to grab hold of. No anti-slip mats are provided, so after that we used a small towel to stand on in the bath whilst showering. The hotel is situated on a main road, which in November didn't disturb us, but I would imagine in high season could be very busy. We went B&B, the breakfasts were very nice, although no Greek yoghurt and honey! But quite a lot of choice other than that and very nice. The pool was a bit cold so didn't use it; but it's quite a suntrap, which was nice in November. The pool and the area around were also clean and well maintained. It's about 15-20 minutes walk to the beach and there is also a busstop about 200 yards from the site in one direction, slightly further in the other direction. Tickets are a standard 1.50 Euro per single trip, no matter how far. We went out for meals every night, but of course choice was limited, as there weren't many open at that time of year. In the main season you'd be spoilt for choice, there are loads of restaurants. The area itself was rather more built up than we expected it to be, there was more building going on along the road at the back of the hotel, which you can get to by walking out of the back of the swimming pool area, along a footpath and then across a bit of wasteland. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

What a great place for a stay great bar and pool area and 1 bed apartment is of a good size and far enough away from the hustle and bustle great holiday thank you for all of your welcome and help .pool nice and relaxing and some nice cooked food and drink

The Mandalena apartments are spotlessly clean, spacious and have basic kitchens, although the building itself is quite utilitarian and could do with updating. It’s worth mentioning that the bathrooms have over the bath showers which could, for some, be a problem as the baths are slippery. The pool is very well cared for with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. Located on a main road which, because we were there in November, wasn’t too busy but i imagine it would be in the summer months so traffic noise could be problematic.
