Dit aantrekkelijke hotel is centraal gelegen, ca. 600 meter van het strand Jardin en 200 m van de Plaza del Charco vandaan. I found the Hotel Magec's location to be excellent. Street outside is busy but plenty of eating places nearby and the seafront not too far away. The rooms are a good size but dated unfortunately. No kettle a downside if you want to take British coffee and teabags with you . Our room certainly didn't look white as the pictures on this site. More a cream/ beige colour. They are bigger with higher ceilings than they appear though and extremely clean. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separated by a door into the main bedroom. Some bathrooms seem to be stuck in the corner of the room with the steam etc. Bathroom isnt here. Shower , no issues with the temperature. Just needs some routine maintenance , paint the bedroom walls white or grey and the grey tiles white !! We only had breakfast. Wasnt too bad. Plentiful. Foreign options better than the English breakfast but never mind ! Bar staff nice. Free drinking water available there . Reception staff fantastic. Large luggage store for day of check.out.

Perfect stay for a no fuss solo trip

This hotel was absolutely fab! Pretty basic but good location, the rooms were clean, breakfast had a lot of choice, and the hotel staff were extremely helpful. I really appreciated them always calling me a taxi as I was on my own. WiFi and the safe are an extra cost but well worth it for the peace of mind. Also have a luggage storage room which is very helpful if your transfer is later in the day! Would definitely stay here again :)

I don't know why people are hating on this place, we arrived at 8.30 last night and dinner finished at 9, everything was still on offer, and alot of choice, my room is perfect, nearly a 360 view and a lovely view at that, room is lovely, bathroom adequate with a bath and shower! Breakfast was I think the most choice I've ever seen, cold choice, hot choice, about 7 different types of pastries, rolls, breads, fruits, condiments, coffees and lots of different teas!! People who moan about this place obviously want alot alot more for their money.....I've travelled alot, and there is nothing wrong with this hotel!
