De appartementen liggen in een winkelzone met talrijke winkelmogelijkheden, restaurants en bars. Op ongeveer 300 meter afstand vindt u het zandstrand. Op 1 km van het hotel ligt het kleine vissersdorp Morro Jable. Naar de luchthaven van Fuerteventura is het ongeveer 95 kilometer.Het appartementencomplex beschikt op 9 etages over in totaal 261 appartementen. Het heeft een ontvangstgedeelte met een 24 uur per dag geopende receptie, een wisselkantoor en een kluis. Verder beschikt het over een terras met uitzicht op zee, een bar, een buffetrestaurant en een speel- en televisiekamer. Tevens kan gebruik worden gemaakt van roomservice, fietsverhuur, medische dienst en een openbare internetaansluiting.De appartementen ter grootte van 36 m² bieden plaats aan 3 volwassenen en 1 kind. Ze hebben een gecombineerde woon-/slaapkamer met slaapbank, die door een Amerikaanse bar van de eetkamer wordt gescheiden en een aparte slaapkamer. Verder beschikken ze over een badkamer met douche/wc, satelliet-/kabeltelevisie, huurkluis, telefoon, airconditioning, een geheel ingerichte keuken met koelkast en een terras met uitzicht op zee.In het buitengedeelte bevinden zich een verwarmbaar zwembad, een pool-/snackbar, waar drie dagen per week live muziek wordt gespeeld en een zonneterras met ligstoelen en parasols. Die staan tevens aan het strand ter beschikking (tegen betaling), waar u ook watersporten, als waterskiën, windsurfen, zeilen of catamaranzeilen kunt beoefenen. Tegen betaling kan er biljart worden gespeeld of kunt u bowlen. Een golfbaan ligt op ongeveer 1 km van het complex.De gasten kunnen hun ontbijt en diner zelf aan een buffet samenstellen.

Low cost budget hotel.but nice

Well after reading all the reviews of this hotel it started to get me down thinking I've just booked it without looking at the reviews.but what a load of rubbish some people put on reviews.first let me say if you want to pay £1600 to £2000 for a 4/5 star hotel for 1week which I have done in the past and still be disappointed then don't expect Iberostar quality.we payed £750 for 5 night's room only.now over £550 pounds was in flights and travel.. this hotel is in a perfect location..shops bars restaurants only a 1 minutes to 15 minutes walk in any direction.ok there is a night club opposite about 500yards away that keeps banging on all night..but if you shut the patio doors and bedroom door you can't even here it.secondly it's clean basic and a lot better than some hotels I've been in the past costing a lot more..we payed £1 extra on love holidays for a sea view..yes a quid.and the room was basically perfect.a 32 inch Hitachi TV. bed settee coffee machine induction hob fridge.clean bathroom..so don't worry it's not Alcatraz but it's not the ritz.as I said you get what you pay for..clean and basic.. WiFi is extra 10 euro for 3 days..TV remote is included at no extra cost.they don't put any sharp knifes in the kitchen..you have to ask at reception.. which is a safety issue.other than these little things everything is Oki koki.

More Basic than Basic

We definitely would NOT recommend these apartments advertised as ‘self catering’ as they clearly are not. On arrival while we were booking in at reception we saw a large brown Cockroach cross the lobby, not a good first impression. Alameda was classed as a Self Catering Holliday, there is no way that anyone could prepare much of a snack let alone a meal with only a 2 ring hob, no kettle, no toaster, no microwave, no cooking utensils (unless you pay a deposit at reception) no pan scrub, washing liquid or cloth and a poor fridge but we had a handkerchief size tea towel. We asked at reception if we could move rooms as we were not happy to be looking at the awful view we had, plus the patio area was completely in the shade and we were told the hotel/apartments were very busy and to ask at reception the following day. Initially our room was on the ground floor (room 106) next door to our friends overlooking the carpark, security fence and the part abandoned shopping centre and night club beyond, this room had a 2 ring hob and a fridge that didn't work. We boiled water in a pan for a drink, then thought we had turned the hob off as the 'on light' had gone off and shortly after went out for a couple of hours, on return we thought the room was exceptionally hot and quickly saw that the hob was glowing red hot (the light indicating the hob was on was NOT lit) luckily we had not left the pan on the hob otherwise it might have melted. All the metalwork surrounding the hob was extremely hot and very dangerous, so my husband thought it safer to unplug the hob. We reported our concerns about the hob and near miss of setting the whole place on fire and soon the old hob was replaced for a newer halogen hob, though at this point in time we hadn't realised the fridge was not working (despite being turned up high). We asked again if we could move rooms and was offered rooms with a sea view at a cost of 100€ (10€ per room per night) for both our friends and us, which we accepted but was not happy to endure this extra cost. The new room (730) had a pretty good view of the sea and looked pretty much like the photo on your advert which had implied this would be the sort of view to expect. The room layout was much the same as before and had an halogen hob, though our friends next door still had and old style hob. We found the room to be quite dirty and tired looking, long hair on the tiled floor, the shower was stained and the fridge had yellow stains which we could not remove with cleaning and the curtains had holes in them but we decided to make go of it. Later in the holiday the room was cleaned to a good standard.

Good Apartment Hotel

The apartment hotel is located at the heart of the South of Fuerteventura. Very close to all the shops and restaurants and also the beach is just few hundred metres away. The new wing rooms are newly refurbished and have a great view of the sea with a balcony. The staff at the reception are very nice and friendly. We met Thomas and Katijna who both were very helpful. Cleaning of the room is done every three days which I felt was very long and should be atleast every alternative day. There was no soap, shampoo or shower gel provided and towels were provided. Overall we had a good experience and the price was very reasonable.
