Great holiday best location in Puerto Del Carmen
Great location having the best of both worlds. The Old Town (with it's fabulous fish restaurants# and New Town with numerous bars and restaurants are 5 minutes walk in each direction.
Apartments were simply furnished and very well looked after with towels changed daily. They had all modern facilities #we paid at reception for Wifi which worked very well in our apartment) although there were no British TV channels available.
Staff were very friendly and we booked all of our day trips at reception and they were very helpful.
Simply a great holiday and we will be returning.

Ideal for couples and families
Just had 2 weeks at this hotel. Excellent location, not far from sandy beaches and shops, restaurants and bars but far enough not to be disturbed by noise etc. Staff are brilliant and the evening entertainment is great fun. The rooms are ideal and spacious and kept very clean. We chose to eat at different restaurants on the main beach promenade but the kitchen area in the rooms are well equipped should you chose to cook yourselves. Would return to this hotel.

Fab holiday great weather in Peurto Del Carmen
Great holiday with our 22yr old son and his mate in a 2 bed apartment. The apartment was perfect, basic but very clean maintenance guy came round to see if we had any problems, morning and evening staff were out there cleaning the pool area and tidying gardens etc. No problems getting a sun bed.Apartments are cleaned 5 days out of 7, towels changed 3 times.Happy hour 4-5pm 2.50 euros for 2 pints of larger,4.50 euros for 2 gin and tonics at the pool bar. The laundry facilities were really easy to use just under 9 euros for wash and dry.Free entertainment laid on in the bar evenings.Reception staff are very helpful and friendly as are all the staff at the complex. This is a well run establishment focusing on customer satisfaction. We love the Old town great food, lovely little tapas bars. spent most of our time there. The new town is just as close its about a 40 minute walk to the end of the strip which is mainly trinkets and British/Irish bars,we did have a great chinese meal there.Full english breakfast in this area is 2.50 euros 3.99 euros old town.

Very good accomodation only 10 minutes walk to Puerto Del Carmen old town and beach. If you get breathless or have mobility difficulties, these apartments are not for you unfortunately as they are in a hilly location. Walking uphill in the afternoon sun is not to be recommended.
Area is reasonably lively even in September/October. Weather was hot and sunny about 12 out of 14 days. Lots of nice eating to be had at night. One very popular mid price restaurant was "Cantina", it always had a lot of customers, rightly so.
Flanagan's showbar in the old town is to be recommended if you like a laugh, not really for young kids though as humour is adult orientated.
Only downside was the pickup for the airport on the return home. Check in was a shambles, our plane was boarding while we were waiting to check in. About 5 flights were checking in on desks 27 to 33. Some flights were delayed and ours was early. Some reps were sending customers through on desk 34 while others told us to hold back. They need to get their act together. We literally ran to get on the plane after security, no last minute shopping for us. Apart from that though, I would gladly go back to Puerto Del Carmen tomorrow.

We booked the holiday via the Thomas Cook web site, the resort, Lomo Blanco looked just what we wanted.
However we were eventually disappointed to find out, after booking and paying I may add to find out there was to be no film entertainment on the flights both outbound and inbound.
The resort Lomo Blanco was kept very clean and I must congratulate the staff in their attention to keeping the place spotlessly clean and attending promptly to any faults that were reported.. However the decor was very dated and could have done with a bit of modernisation. It did not really represent the image on your web site

First holiday in 6 years in Lanzarote
My sister and I decided to go to Lanzarote as the other destination in the Canaries was unavailable. This was my first holiday in 6 years after an illness so I was very much looking forward to a break away. Our holliday was booked last minute but we were kept well informed along the way. Our apartments were at the Lomo Blanco and I have to say I was impressed by the apartment complex, it was clean and tended to everyday. The apartments were clean and functional however we were close to the bar and restaurant therefore it was noisy til the early hours of the morning.
We were always able to get a sun lounger at the pool and the pool side food was cheap. There is a great amount of restaurants and pubs but being a non drinker there wasn`t much else to do apart from this. The beach is lovely and it is a clean place. However we are 29 and 30 and we felt it was very much a couples destination. There is a lot of cheap trinket shops so you may pick up a bargain but generally its the same stuff in every shop.
In general its a lovely destination and the weather was amazing, so for a relaxing holiday its great!

Sun, sea, swimming
This is pretty much a family orientated complex, full of large and friendly Irish families. The bar staff are friendly, and the kareoke is definitely a laugh. The apartment was ideal for getting to the beach, and going out to eat at night, and it was just far away enough not to be disturbed by noise at night from 'the strip'. The apartment was kept very clean, although I have to add that it was a bit tatty, and the pools on the comples were both rather small for the amount of people staying on the complex (10 poeple and the 'large' pool was full; it was frequently impossible to get a sunbed). When we got there there was building of some kind (sawing, hammering) every day. We weren't impresssed at being woken up at 8.30 by this kind of racket.
So this is a good place if you want something cheap and functional, within relatively easy reach of the beach. Don't expect it to be quiet and peaceful, though - it's just not that kind of place.

5 of us stayed at the apartments Lomo Blanco between 2-9 May 2010. The apartment was very spacious and ideal for our group, the apartment was basic but offered what we wanted as a base to explore the island. Lanzarote offers lots for everyone to do from young families to adults. The night life is quite good not too bonkers and is ideal for people who like pubs. If you are prepared to look u can find cheap beer and food, however the irish bars are expensive. Their are lots of touts outside of the restraunts and bars which can become annoying after a week, but you get used to it and if u cross the road they dont bother you.The beach is nice and there is plenty to do. In the old town there is lots for everyone and there is a good entertainment area for kids. On the whole it is a good holiday and would go back again in a few years.
